We bought a dishwasher a month ago from Lowe's, they said they had to measure the place it was to be placed. We told them the exact same brand was what we had.  It took a week before they came to measure the space. To make a long story short, 2 weeks later we got the dishwasher. Then we had to replace the dishwasher in our rental. We decided to go to Home Depot. We got there about 9 am Monday and about 45 minutes later had purchased a dishwasher that will be delivered Friday. Home Depot is the best!

Excellent customer service experience at this location.  Jeff, from the back, came out and helped me get the hardware I needed for a small project.   I met and spoke with three other associates and all of them were polite and respectful and helpful.  No problem using the military discount; I just showed my military retiree ID card.

Its a home depot..... Same as the others..... But usually fairly unbusy with little or no wait. Staff is great on weekdays (pro team) but on weekends it varies (consumer team). Good prices, good selection, with a lot more available online for store pickup.

Refused to honor military discount because it said veteran on my drivers license instead of having my VA ID card. They were completely disrespectful. Had just made a $500 purchase and was making an additional one and said forget it to both. Disappointed. I always enjoyed Home Depot and never had any problems until today. Even management/supervisor wouldn't allow it. "Policy Change". Decided to take my business to Jerry's and Lowe's because they were not only cheaper but much more respectful and actually thanked me for my service instead of belittle and haggle with me.

The employees that helped me find what I needed were great but management and customer service were completely rude.

Won't shop here again.

I am disgusted with the lack of customer service here now. I just bought a bunch of baseboard trim, that I had to cut by hand myself, thank you very much. I was unloading the 12 ft. long pieces into my truck and this guy employee came to watch me load them. 
He did not offer to help me, he just offered to take my cart when I was done and told me to "take your time", while he stood and watched me.
Just because I don't need help, doesn't mean that he shouldn't at least offer! Forget being a "gentleman", because apparently that's long dead, but what about customer service? He works here! Is he afraid to hear the words "No thanks"? 
Every time I come to Home Depot, I'm more and more disappointed with the lack of customer service.
At Jerry's you usually can't get away from someone trying to help. Not so at Home Depot sadly.
