Overall.. the location is ideal! Affordable. Everything is super close. Rooms are clean. Very cozy. Lee is wonderful. Showed us where all of the tourist attractions are and very kind. Breakfast isn’t the greatest selection, but my kids enjoyed it. 1/2 block from Starbucks too!! :) I’d definitely stay again if we ever return!!

I am not sure if the other reviewers were sober when they wrote their reviews, but it deserves a neg star. It took 20 min for someone to come check us in. When I went into the room to look before we unloaded the children I was so ashamed that I even book the motel. The furniture is torn up and stained, the bedding was not cleaned (please see photos), the heater was broken, there was a rodent/bug deterrant plugged in and I felt like I was in a horror movie. If I were the owner I would be ashamed of my staff and my establishment. When it comes to motels I am not picky but I expect my bedding to be at least washed. Paying 98 per night before taxes you would think your room would feel less like the slums and more like the beach. Please please don't bring your family here. If you don't care how nasty a motel is then this is for you. I can't even.

Owner Lee is a great guy. Professional...flexible....friendly...and amazing. Great Chinese restaurant on site. Stiff drinks in bar. Great property. A bit dated but does the job. Safe and quiet.

Our room was clean, quiet and roomy. It is an older hotel, but fairly well maintained. The staff were friendly and the hotel is centrally located. Our family had a wonderful time in Newport, and with the money we saved staying here we we're able to splurge a bit and enjoy several of the awesome restaurants in town! We will stay here again

Nice clean (but a but dated) budget hotel - was surprised to have a kitchenette for $65/night. Owner friendly, enjoyed the Chinese restaurant on premise also. Front desk not always staffed, so you might have to wait a few minutes, but overall amazing value for money.
