Only open very limited hours. No onsite maintenance. Takes MONTHS to get things fixed like roof leaks, water damage, electrical shorts and appliances that don't work. Oh and they don't take care of insect or pest problems. Edit: My pizza man got held up at gun point for accidentally knocking on the wrong door. The unit I was in (3rd floor) was losing structural integrity (entire condo was leaning to the west) causing every door and window to have a large gap at the bottom and a severe rub at the top. My bedroom door didn't even close cause of this. A/C electric bill (being it was in my name) was astronomical around $200 a month for a small one bedroom. I changed every light out for LED and still only saved $10... a/c was set on 78F. I get that this is Arizona and it's hot as hell but these units aren't insulated at all. I have to say it earned a star for the security screen doors and bars on the windows. However I really could have done without the unwanted roommates on my balcony.

I've stayed here on and off since 1994, it's always been a respite from living in cold weather during the winter and a nice place to cool down in the summer. The snow birds love visiting here, the management has always been more than graceful and accommodating. Always ask for John Caldamone or his wife as they have been here since the beginning. Their was financial hard ship during 9/11 and 2008 and the recovery has been very good. I highly recommend for an evening or a life time. Their is a nice restaurant (I&J fountain) on property, shopping in almost all directions, a bistro about 3 blocks away called Birts Bistro- at night playing jazz/blues and it's also a coffee/ library during the day. Location is centralized and very large mall (arrowhead mall) several miles to the east otherwise everything seams to be getting better by the day. I highly recommend.
