The wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. It has a great romantic ambiance if you seat upstairs. They had a live piano performer downstairs that you can hear in the atrium of the second floor. We ordered the Chateaubriand medium rare. The order comes with veggies and mash potatoes. It took a while for it to come out but it was worth it. The wife wanted to seat in the train car but was closed for a private party. It seemed a little tight so the upstairs is recommended.

I will start by saying the only good thing about this hotel is the very nice people that work there. Also, the options for the continental breakfast were good. Unfortunately, those are not enough reasons to give this hotel more than 1 star. The room was filthy and falling apart. The bathroom fan hasn't been cleaned in MONTHs, the ceiling had obvious damage, the bed and pillows were horrible and desperately needs replacing. The pool wasn't working but listed as an amenity. There is a sign that they are renovating certain rooms but based on the shape they're in, this is a few years too late. The price for the room is completely outrageous for the shape this place is in and the amenities they don't have.

Although I have never stayed at the Madison Hotel, I have been to the Steakhouse attached to it multiple times. The food was very good, albeit expensive. The overall atmosphere was the highlight of my time there. Definitely a very cool place if you're willing to spend a little.

We went there for a wedding. The rooms were okay, but the service we received exceeded all expectations. My kid had allergies. Lots of them. The chef prepared a special meal and appetizers just for her. The staff ensured everything was good. If I'm in the area again, I would stay there for sure.

Wedding food was delicious! The workers were all very helpful with organization. Plates were cleared promptly. I wish there was another men's bathroom nearby the check in.
