I had a very nice stay at the Redbury. The room was a bit small (but not surprising in NYC) but it was clean, nicely decorated. Definitely a really nice room. Location is amazing. Great restaurant. All in all a great experience.

Very nicely and well kept hotel. Decent views from our top floor room. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the noisy heat unit that kept us up through the night.

This was a choice of hotel given to us after our first choice was removed due to it being upgraded. The room had heating that kept us awake most of the night and the shower had to be fixed as the water was not warm and it was very cold outside and a warm shower would have been appreciated at least the did fix it. Breakfast was the worst I have experienced in any country and hotel. The variety was non existent as was the service the only time we had contact with the staff was when we had to ask for mugs or cutlery or when they tried presenting us with a bill every day even though we paid with the room.the one good thing was Alexanda who was in charge of customer information and she was brilliant. I would not return but there again I would not return to NYC

even though this is a nice hotel, they rob you blind. I would never stay here again. Booked it through priceline for a certain rate. At the end of the booking, a $42 "hotel fee" appeared. I decided to book the room anyway as I needed the location and it seemed like a nice hotel. Now I see they tacked on another $50 on my credit card, for no reason whatsoever. I did not use buy anything from their minibar, not even a drop of water, so this is pure highway robbery. Tried calling hotel to dispute the charge. Was kept on hold for 20 minutes. I then decided to call my credit card company who totally understood the situation and gave me a $50 credit. They are greedy and I hope that tourists who stay there really take a good look at their bills.

Good location close to fast food shops and a short walk to empire state building. Rooms were good, bed comfy and the shower had good pressure(even though water goes everywhere because of the design). The food at the Marta in the lobby was also top quality
