😡😡😡Last week I gave the Room Place this bad review ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ because I’m a very disappointed customer.. few hours later after i posted it, someone from the same store asked me to inbox them, so I did , and this person told me that someone from their customer care would contact me as soon as possible, I honestly kept my hopes up because i though someone would contact me to try to help me, well, yes they did contact me today and I spoke to their customer care, her first questions was if I’m the one who posted the bad reviews on social media, I go yes I did. She goes well Ms. Wanda unfortunately I’m contacting you, to let you know that we CAN NOT help you on your case. when I asked her Why? she told me, because I bought my dining set on February 2018(3 month ago) but the funny part is that’s exactly the reason why i gave them this bad review. so why are you waisting your time? and making waste mine. I trusted this company TWICE and they betrayed me, now I have a brand new dining set with the chairs upside down where people CAN NOT sit in it, because scratches the floor, and I already had my floor all scratched because of those chairs, now I have too fix it, plus i have to fix those chairs my own because after paying this expensive warranty they can’t help me, had really bad time argued with them, and I still need to finish paying for their bad quality furniture.. SO PEOPLE for my  bad experience I’m telling you today, think about it twice before you buy anything from The Room Place. Go to IKEA at least you know you are getting what you pay for, or go to Value City Furniture at least their customer service is nicely.

To me The Room Place is the WORST store 
EVER!!!!!!!! I had the worst experience ever with them, TWICE, last year I bought a bedroom set they took a week to deliver, because they were delivering piece by piece, they offer me 100$ gift card for all the inconvenience which I never received, after that nightmare of taking days off of work and staying home wasting my precious time, i called customer service which is horrible, while you’re at the store everyone is nice and polite, once you get your furniture no body knows nothing so you have to fight them even though you have paid for a warranty. Well after I paid off my first set they send me a 20% off coupon so I decided to take the risk and give them a second chance. when I went to the store to get a dining set, for some reason the 20% didn’t work, but I still bought everything I needed.
I purchased the warranty and everything was delivered on time. 
However after three weeks I had a problem with the chairs. I called and it took them 3 weeks to fixed the problem, after arguing of course. Now my floor is all scratched because of the chairs, I called them, send them pictures of the chairs problem and explain by email exactly what’s the problem is and I still waiting for them. It’s really frustrating paying your money to a company who doesn’t deserve it or care for their customers. If you’re considering to buy any furniture PLEASE DONT. It’s sad seeing how those companies make money taking advantage of us.

Last time I will patronize them. They tell you one thing and then put something else into the small words. I would've been a loyal customer but they're not loyal. Shop at your own risk...

The RoomPlace is my favorite furniture store. The salesman was knowledgeable and very helpful. I will return to this store in the very near future to purchase something else. Loved it!!!

I have purchased alot of furniture over many years from room place and I can say that my experience with the company has been good. UNTILL I purchased their insurance. I absolutely regret it. Waste of money! While i do recommend The room place and their furniture I do NOT recommend getting the insurance for your furniture. The company they use is horrible. You're better off saving your money.

I recommend that if you stop by the The RoomPlace at the Harlem location that you should talk to Ms. Nicole Nicosia. She's amazing! Her service was great! Her furniture and sales were perfect especially with me being a college student just moving to the Windy City into a studio apartment! The prices were just up my alley! 👍🏾👍🏾
