Love this place. Probably my second favorite restaurant to go to when staying in DC. If you are staying at the Grand Hyatt, it is a quick walk to. That is partially why I end up here more often than the Hamilton, my favorite DC eatery. The rotating desserts are excellent (love the apple 'pie'). I have had both fish and chicken there, both excellent. They have an extensive wine and liquor list with something for everyone. We have done two private events there and they have gone off flawless.

Excellent restaurant for dinner, the food was DELICIOUS and the drinks of my! You should try the "double trouble" if you're in for a strong tasty drink. The service was very great, we stopped by while visiting, therefore we did not have a reservation but we were seated quickly (around 5 and 6pm). The waitress we had took the time to explain us the daily menu and gave us great recommendations! I found no cons about this place, besides maybe the pricey side of the menu, but the quality we paid for was definitely worth it, One of the highlights of our visit!

This is a wonderful restaurant with impeccable service. The food and liquor selection are top-notch. Great diversity, and inventive creations. Don’t miss the deep fried squash rings they were incredible. Conveniently located near many Penn Quarter attractions.

This is my new favorite place for weekend breakfast. I know brunch is the preferred late-morning/early afternoon meal on weekends but I live breakfast. The Smith offers the best of both. The emphasis is on the food but they also have a full bar with good brunch drink options. In addition to the yummy food, the service and the coffee were also excellent.

Great overall experience. Enjoyed brunch here on a Sunday morning, right as the restaurant was opening. Because of that, we were seated immediately, and the dining area quickly filled up. Our server was great, very prompt. The mimosas were perfect and the food was excellent.
