Located at The Newseum in Washington D.C., The Source by Wolfgang Puck features innovative Asian cuisine, paired with unmatched hospitality and service. The sleek and contemporary restaurant is spread out over three distinct levels.
Dining experiences include a casual and convivial bar & lounge area, an elegant main dining room and a subterranean private dining room. The modern design boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that line the restaurant and a two-story glass wine wall that holds more than 2,000 bottles of the restaurant’s impressive collection.
The bar and lounge area offers approachable dining in a casual setting with an array of small plates and Happy Hour Specials. The second-floor dining room is a fine-dining experience where servers will guide you through a menu with contemporary interpretations of Asian dishes and create a culinary experience just for you.
The Chef’s Counter is "the most exclusive 'chef's table' in town,” says Tom Sietsma that offers a tasting menu for two guests overlooking our newly renovated lounge kitchen. Our 16-course meal is full of delicious bites that will be prepared in view of the chefs as they cook. Reservations must be made in advance and starts at $150 per person.
The Source is the recipient of many awards and accolades including #3 ranking on Washingtonian Magazine's "Top 100 Restaurants," three stars from the Washington Post, plus three awards from the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington including "2011 Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year," "2010 Chef of the Year," and "2008 New Restaurant of the Year."
