We always come here for the oysters, spicy calamari, and clam chowder. They have best clam chowder in this entire universe! Always creamy with savory chunks of clams and potatoes inside! Herbert the chef is truly amazing! We actually got to met him and he was genuinely nice and welcoming.

I love Legal Sea Foods. I stopped in for fried clams, only to find out they are not a regular item on the menu (try calling ahead). So, instead, I ordered a bowl of clam chowder, which was hot and creamy with delicious chunks of clams and potatoes inside! I enjoyed it with the complimentary rolls and it was a satisfying meal. The bartender made me a delicious dirty martini with two huge, meaty olives. For dessert, I had a refreshing bowl of blood orange and lemon sorbet. This is one of only a few Legal's in the DMV. If you are not familiar, stop in to enjoy some premium seafood. You won't be disappointed. This location is Metro-accessible at Gallery Place/ Chinatown.

If your visiting DC , definitely check this place out if your looking for seafood! Came here on a Saturday night and must say food, drinks, and staff were OUTSTANDING. Everything came quick, hot , and fresh. Service is friendly and polite, even one of the managers, Richard , came to check how our meal and experience was. Highly recommend!

It was a last minute decision that turned out to be the RIGHT decision! The food was impeccable, the service first rate, atmosphere perfect. We ordered several items that were excellent. Topped off the meal with the maple bourbon bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. It was the cherry on the evening. I want to go back again tonight!

This location was perfectly situated across from the Capital One Arena and a few blocks from the Convention Center. The staff was extremely friendly to include the on shift manager who not only welcomed us but also helped served some of our entrees. We loved every dish starting with the crab dip and those amazing crisps that were sent down from heaven. The buffalo shrimp salad was huge and full of flavor, my tuna steak medium rare was perfect and the scallops were cooked just right. I can't wait to visit again real soon, especially if our waiter Johnny will be there--he saw to our every need and even anticipated a few. A truly great experience had by all. 👏🏿👏🏿👍🏿
