It’s definitely has the feel of a chain taco shop. I was hoping more for a hole in the wall place, but it was still pretty good. My friends got the burrito bowls and loved it. I had the corn tortilla tacos and was underwhelmed by the tortillas. The service was good, and they’ll bring the food to your table even though you wait in line to order.

I love the tacos at District Taco! I love that you can get as many of the "regular" toppings as you like on the tacos, so for me, it's always "all the veggies!' They also have a great salsa bar that has mild, medium, and hot salsas to add to your food, as well as chopped onions and jalapenos. Makes for some delicious tacos. They can accommodate vegan and gluten-free needs as well, as long as you specify no meat and cheese, and to have the corn tortillas. My only gripe about this location is that it is SO small with very limited seating. There's maybe a small table or two downstairs, and the upstairs has a few long tables, but even on a Saturday well after 1:00pm, it was so crowded that I almost couldn't get a seat for myself. (The Dupont Circle location is much bigger.)

While in transit from New York to South Carolina my wife and I decided to stop at one of our bucket list restaurants from the Food Network. After four or five times around the block, we finally found a parking space. The trips around the block were well worth the wait. We arrived during lunch hour, but the time it took to order and receive our food was very fast for that time of day. We purchased soft tacos Mexican and American style, they were delicious. We also ordered some tacos "to go" for the trip home. Seating is very limited. If you're driving, download the app that allows you to pay and add more time to your parking meter. The app information is located on the parking meters. The parking garages cost $20.

While planning my trip to DC I saw this place through searching for foods. I came with some friends and I got the 3 tacos for $8. It was the best $8 I’ve spent on tacos! I got the steak tacos with some toppings. It was delicious that I wanted to go back and get more. I will definitely be coming again when I make a trip to DC.

Very interesting, casual place. Food was very tasty and prepared quickly. Busy place, but ordering is quick and easy. Great for take out. Limited upstairs seating is only drawback for this restaurant
