This gym is really cool! I've been to many gyms, but this one has the best atmosphere. I highly recommend the trainers. I work out with Morgan. She’s the best! She created a workout program for me based on my needs and knee issues. This gym is also pet-friendly. Sometimes my motivation is just to pet Cali. Overall, it has everything you need to be comfortable: nice people, great equipment, comfortable showers, towels, snacks, and a cryosauna.
Highly recommend Studio Fitness, and especially PT Clementine! I joined Studio a year ago when I was looking for a gym in Toronto, and have found the environment to be very welcoming. Clem is a very thoughtful trainer, who creates a customized workout plan for your goals but is also flexible enough to make changes session by session and great at rolling with the punches I've thrown her some curveballs, including an injury that impacted my ability to workout for some time. She keeps sessions fun, full of energy, and always has me laughing. On the toughest of mornings, one of the only things that gets me out of bed is knowing I'll leave the gym in a much better mood than I came in, ready to conquer my day. If you want a gym that feels like a family/community, and a trainer who will help you crush your goals but also have fun while doing it - join Studio and work with Clem!
Not your average gym in the BEST way possible. Perfect place if you value and need 1-on-1 coaching. Having back issues for almost 2 decades, and not feeling great in my body for a few years, I was finally ready to make a drastic change in my life but needed to do it in an emotionally safe environment. From day one, Morgan guided me on this journey in the best way possible, listening to my needs, crafting a perfect program that matched my goals but considered my limitations. She updated the program when my back drastically went better and we shifted from a pain management intention to bringing back the fire in me. I cannot thank her enough for her guidance in the last months. The studio itself is bright and welcoming. All the coaches are friendly and knowledgeable, the vibe is humble and focused, and you can go train by yourself when you purchase a private coaching package. Training by myself was not my forte but I can attest that this place pushed me out of my comfort zone and brought me concrete results that I never thought I would see. Extra plus : it is dog friendly, so you will often find a four legged friend there to support you and to pet between your sets! :-
I've been working out at Studio Fitness for about two months and have nothing but positive things to say! I have been looking for a personal training gym for quite some time and happened to come across this place; I'm very glad I did. The facilities and equipment are excellent, and the gym has a community feel that makes me excited to come in for my sessions. I was immediately impressed by the demeanor of the staff, how comfortable they made me feel, and the lack of pressuring "sales tactics" that you find at a lot of gyms. The place feels relaxed and like your best interests are actually top of mind. They have many trainers, all with diverse skillsets and welcoming attitudes, no matter what your level of gym experience is. I'm training with Iona, and I'm already working well towards my goals and seeing results after two months, and will definitely continue to enjoy this place going forward. Beyond that, the prices are competitive and well worth it; you can even use the gym outside of your sessions on your own. 10/10!
I cannot say enough good things about Studio Fitness! Training with Morgan for nearly three months has been an absolute game-changer for me. She has transformed my perspective on exercise, showing me just how incredible working out can be. Not only have I lost several inches during my time here, but my entire outlook on fitness has shifted, leading to a healthier relationship with food as well. The studio itself is warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere where I always feel at ease. The staff members are incredibly friendly and supportive, making each visit a pleasure. Discovering this wonderful community has been a true blessing, and I wholeheartedly recommend Studio Fitness to anyone seeking a positive, transformative fitness experience!
I've been working out here for nearly 2 years and can safely say they've transformed my way of approaching training and healthy living. Great people and a very down to earth and relaxed atmosphere whilst also ensuring that when we work, we work! They care about more than just the time you pay for and engage with you and your needs. Ranging from physio/chiropractor/acupuncture specialists when it's needed through to your diet and your own personal challenges. Greatly appreciate all the work so far and look forward to more in the future! - Alex
Studio Fitness has completely changed my perspective on gyms and working out in general - I've always found it difficult to be consistent as I don't like exercising, however, the environment here is so inviting and welcoming that I truly look forward to and am excited for my sessions. All of the trainers are really friendly, but over the last few months I've been lucky enough to work with Nate - I've tried a lot of different classes elsewhere and he is easily the best trainer / instructor I've ever had. His energy and humour make every session enjoyable, even when it's an ungodly hour in the morning. He genuinely cares about my progress and well-being, and I love that his approach is very balanced: he'll make me work hard for it, but he'll also encourage me to eat the pizza I want : Extra bonuses for great music and being dog-friendly - I love getting to bring my pup and all the cute dogs just add to the experience. I'm so happy to have found this place and would recommend anyone who is thinking about it to jump head-first - it's such a supportive community where I feel motivated to be my best self. Just do it - you won't regret it! :
This is the absolute best gym in Toronto! I've been working out here for a couple of months with Nate and I've already made significant progress towards my fitness goals. He is incredibly knowledgeable, knows how to motivate you, and also has great taste in video games :D From the first time I entered the gym for my consultation, I was made to feel super welcome by Mo and the rest of the team. The gym itself is awesome - immaculately clean with state of the art equipment, a smoothie bar, healthy meals, and it's even dog friendly! If you're looking to invest in your health and fitness, look no further than the team at Studio Fitness!
I have been working out with Iona and Moe separately at the gym for almost 2 months. I feel incredibly strong already. The gym is a safe space and it’s a family- it’s like cheers- everyone knows your name. Iona is an amazing trainer, her background is impressive- from swim coaching to bodybuilding. She is so motivating, she pushes you and she tells you like it is, and always with a smile. Moe is awesome- he knows your limits and pushes you for more. He is so knowledgeable and will tell you when it’s time for your body to rest for a day OR two. Both are so knowledgeable with food and will give you great suggestions on how to increase your calorie and protein intake. They make it easy and fun. The gym on a whole level is fantastic. If you are going to spend money on feeling great, this is worth the investment, not only for the body but for the mind and socialization. One more thing , I did my first cryotherapy there with Chloe, it was a hard and cold three minutes but I wouldn’t have been able to do without her talking me thru it. Like I said before- everyone is great at what they do. Thank you so much for what you all do. : Sorry to you, but you guys might be stuck with me for a while hahaha
Studio Fitness at 477 Richmond is probably the best place I have trained in my life. The commitment the team shows in helping achieve individual goals is literally out of this world. Both owners, Morgan and Mo are super specialized trainers with an impressive and rather unique set of knowledge on how to recover from injury, how to become more fit and healthier. This does not mean training for aesthetics, but truly improving life quality with measurable and, most importantly, life relevant outcomes. In addition, both Morgan and Mo are very generous and giving. I am so grateful to have met them and so happy each time I go there! Thank you very much for this incredible welcome to Toronto and for the kindness and dedication you show in helping me with my rehabilitation and training! I am indebted!
