Even my vegetarian kids love this restaurant! I recently had a chance to visit this CO Springs landmark restaurant, basically just wanted to witness the views before the space turns into another office park - my expectations otherwise were neutral. Regardless, the hostess, servers, and manager were super friendly and attentive as the ambiance was rustic yet dignified. To start off the bison jalapeno poppers were just beautiful, literally a taste explosion (in a good way). Furthermore, I have been to steak houses before where you can't ask questions  about the meat or need to practically trip the servers to get them to stop at your table. Notso here, the staff is so friendly and forthcoming about the menu, you can take your time to decide, have another drink - Doc Holiday is my favorite -  and not worry that they will never come back  with that perfect elk, lamb or bison burger (I tried them all). And, to please the kids, the sauteed garlic spinach and seasonal veggies are succulent blessings from nature and served in generous portions - no mayo based salad horrors, just the freshest mixes of vegetables and NOT OVERDONE. What a fun and delicious evening packed with memories of a near-bygone era.  And a huge thanks also to the manager who, as he cruised the floor checking on people, carried iced water to be sure glasses were filled and guests were happy! ☆☆☆☆☆

Went for brunch in a ladies day out. This was my first time dining, other time I was there for cocktails. The brunch was amazing! It is pricy, however the buffet they have is insane. Eggs, sausage, ham, bacon, lasagna, ribs, 3 types of salmon plus other seafood, a fruit bar, dessert bar, pastries... I could go on! They have a huge selection of delicious food available. At the grill there are different meats cooked, plus desserts. The banana foster was divine! Sit down, take a while, and enjoy yourself. It's well worth it!

We celebrated our anniversary there on Saturday night. The steaks were tough, Golden Corral steaks were better than what we had. The appetizer was okay and the drinks were okay. The bill came, we had a gift card that we gave him along with our credit card for the balance. After looking at our bank account on Tuesday, they had charged the entire bill to our credit card. I called during business hours and left a message for Mindy the manager, explained what happened and asked her to call me. NO PHONE CALL. I left another message on Wednesday, still NO PHONE CALL. My last call was Thursday. This is Friday and still NO PHONE CALL! Checked on the gift card balance and found out they didn't even use the card, so now we have a gift card for a place we will never go to again and our credit card paid the full amount. We may have given them another chance, sometimes the food can can get better, but the fact the manager Mindy, didn't return a phone call has totally turned us against this place. My recommendation is if you are going to try it, good luck, use cash and never give a gift card as a gift! I will tell anyone who asks, try a different restaurant. The view isn't worth the aggravation of everything else.

We were seated for 25 minutes and watched several tables (who were seated after us) get their drinks and serviced and not once did anyone ask if we would even like a simple water. Just wanted to enjoy my birthday at a nice place 🤷🏼‍♀️ Last time we will go there!

Extremely expensive for what is, now, just a pub with some pub food. Used to be a destination but has gone down hill drastically. There are better place to go in the springs, with less of a view though.
