Really chill staff. Nice decor. Views of H Street Corridor for satisfying people watching. 99% of seating is stools in the immediate cafe space, but there's plenty of comfy seats, couches, benches and more in the lobby of the The Apollo which Wyndown is connected. No stuffy vibes here, just good coffee, freshly baked goods and a nice staff.

Usually great service at the cashier and a great atmosphere, but there's a guy who wears thick hipster glasses and works as a barista and is incredibly rude. Hope Wydown remembers that good customer service is one of the reasons people go there...

The espresso, the foundation of good Italian coffee drinks, was sour. Beans were ground too finely, over roasted and over extracted. Maybe their libations are better?
