We're a full service plumbing, drain and water filtration company serving the entire Charlotte Metro area.

Story

Three Way Plumbing was established in 1997 by me, Danielle Martini, a stay-at-home mom, and my husband, Steve, a highly-sought-after licensed plumber. Why? Because we, like you, were sick and tired of receiving lousy service from all service contractors. Missed appointments (if I could even GET an appointment), shady pricing, bad communication and terrible customer service were all the catalysts for starting our own company. My mission was to mold the company around what I would expect from a service professional entering my home. We never looked back. We wanted to be the first plumber Charlotte called and we have been plumbing Charlotte and the surrounding areas ever since!

Courteous and professional! I needed a plumber to change out an old lavatory faucet, fix a slow leak in a toilet and consult on an action plan for replacing dated fixtures in 3 bathrooms. The gentlemen evaluated all options, gave me written proposals for each, made a recommendation and executed promptly and professionally. They had all tools and products with them - including a very high quality faucet - but gave me options for purchasing elsewhere if I chose. They did a beautiful job!

We have used the services of this company twice. Our decision to call them for a second issue was due to our satisfaction with our initial encounter. We feel very confident in the integrity and knowledge of this company. Additionally, and this might have been just luck, they were able to schedule a visit within 24 hours of our call both times. I would highly recommend them! They're our new "go to"!

Unfortunately, we spent a lot of money to find out that this was not a good company to deal with. First, their diagnostic fee is very high and worse, can not be applied to services performed, should you choose to go ahead and hire them. Second, TWO techs came out and all they could offer was to do a very expensive rotor service, when they could not figure out the issue. After spending hundreds of dollars to clear a pipe in a 2 year old home, they found nothing in there. Instead they made a huge, gross mess which required us to clean our carpets afterwards. (He barely cleaned, said "you might want to bleach that later" and then proceeded to touch everything around him. Yuck.) Then when our issue happened again we did some Googling...turns out, our low flow toilet just needed to be slightly adjusted. DONE! By ourselves!! No one EVER bothered to check our toilets!!! I mean, why bother when that doesn't cost the customer hundreds and hundreds of dollars, right? Shameful.

#way has incredible customer service, knowledgeable, attentive, fast and intelligent. They came out same day our old water heater stopped working, and installed a full tankless system the next day which has done everything they claimed. Hands down the best customer service experience I have had in a very long time.

Rating 5 stars, because based on the other reviews online, this company provides good service and don't want to take away from that. I called this company this morning to inquire about drain cleaning and a quote on replacing my cleanout which is still cast iron and gives me problems with roots. After speaking with multiple plumbers and having various other types of work done at my home recently, I was a bit taken back by the fact they charge a $79 dispatch fee to come out and this is not factored into the cost of the work if you choose to work with them. I can certainly understand the fee in the event that I have them come out and don't utilize their service, but chose not to proceed because I am uncomfortable paying $79 PLUS the cost of service just because they show up. Most companies I've worked with have factored this into the cost of the job if you choose to go with their company. I also felt as though the pricing of "by the job but not by the hour", while sounds good at first so you don't get someone coming out and taking their time to get more money, I've never had a plumber charge by the hour, normally they've come out, assessed the job itself at your house and price based on the complexity of that specific job. I personally am more comfortable with that than I am with a one size fits all approach. I understand each company has to do what works best for them, just wanted to provide my feedback as to why I chose to go elsewhere after inquiring about their services.
