TMC Auto Service has been providing quality car care in Virginia Beach, VA, since 1978. Our shop employs honest ASE-certified technicians and mechanics, and we use the latest technology and equipment for our repairs. Because we are a certified NAPA AutoCare Center, we are able to provide the benefits of an established national company while offering the personal touch of a local business.

Very helpful shop. ANY work I can't do or don't have time to do TMC takes good care of me, my vehicle, and they don't take advantage of any situations. Prices are comparable if not better than most shops around. Fred behind the counter is respectable, honest, and very knowledgeable when it comes to automotive. James the tech who worked on my vehicle is good at what he does and he respects your property. I had a rotate and balance with an alignment but I have very nice rims that did not get a single scratch. Hard to find shops like this. I will return and I recommend this place for any automotive need or exhaust work (great welders).

Dropped off car at 8 a.m. and was called at 11:30 to pick up. They did a wonderful job putting in my muffler and new tailpipes. They even checked out a rattling noise that turned out to be a loose flange. They tightened it up for me after expressing I didn't like hearing this noise. They were so very polite, I will be bring my business here again.

Took my vehicle there for their $89.00 diagnostic test with the understanding that with that they would most likely have it all fixed. Then they tell me my total would be $538!!!! When I asked for an explanation of the cost they told me multiple answers and then wouldn't even guarantee that would fix the problem. When I told them not to do it they then tried to charge me $250 for the $89 diagnostic test and an oil change! Then after multiple phone calls and request to speak to the owner they finally dropped the price to a normal price and told me to never bring my car back to them. Very professional....

We have been using The Muffler Center (TMC Auto) to service our vehicles since 1985 and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.  This is a family-run business that operates with honesty and integrity and they are the only company we recommend to family and friends.

Absolutely outstanding service from TMC!! They were extremely flexible and honest and up front with me about everything. I will not be taking my car anywhere else for anything.
