I am new to the area having moved here from LA and still learning my way around but I have already found the Salon for me. Noticed a cute building named Choppers Salon at Scottsdale rd and Shea and checked it out on the web. Do not know what more I can really add to what nice things are already here about Kelly but I wanted to share my experience. I have very curly and the love the ability to either smooth or let it air dry curly. In the past it took me several visits to a Salon to get it both the cut and the color right but Kelly at Choppers did impress me. The Salon is very colorful, fun and interesting. The other stylists where warm and attentive. Kelly turned out to be fun, talented and a man with a plan. I truly enjoyed his work and am a fan. Why does Choppers not have their own reality show?

Found Kelly in a panic to have my color corrected.  Loved my last girl but she did mess up my color and could not fix it.  He had a couple funny and cool videos on line and does the ombre color I really wanted.  The place is different.  Ok I did have a little problem finding the front door but coming up the stairs it did remind me of the music instrument museum in north Scottsdale.  Loved what he has done with the upstairs loft.  Great view overlooking the intersection and the mountain skyline.  Kelly was patient and listened to my story.  I showed him some pictures of what I wanted.  He made a few suggestions and went to work.  Thought it was cool - it was 110 degrees outside and he did offer me a choice of either beer or wine.  2 hours later I was thrilled to say the least.  Deep chocolate with beige highlights from the mid length thru the ends.  Love Love Love it.  Great color and way cool salon.  Great price and an overall excellent experience.  LOL Kelly is my new go to hair guy.  Thank you Kelly.  Great job.
