Our campground is set in what's known as "the peaceful side of the Smokies".
Located in what's called "the peaceful side of the Smokies," each day at the Townsend / Great Smokies KOA promises a new adventure. This KOA neighbors Cades Cove, home to wildlife such as black bear and deer along with lush vegetation. Hiking trails that cross suspended bridges are abundant throughout this wooded tapestry, and miles of tubing and biking opportunities guarantee great fun for your vacation.
