The staff is wonderful! Very friendly and they keep the place very clean. As everyone else says, the bathhouse is incredible! It's the nicest I have seen anywhere...hotels included! Also, like others have said, some of the sites are cram packed together. The camper right in front of us is as close as it could be, (I have to be careful not to hit his slide out when I go sit by our fire ring) BUT I requested a site with trees to hang our hammocks on and we have those! Thankfully our close neighbor isn't there all the time so we still feel like we have privacy and it is very relaxing sitting in my hammock by the trickling stream (there is *not* a lot of water going all the way around the campground, like we thought, but it is still cool). The swimming hole is frrrreezing but we still got in and jumped off the rock! We have tubed twice and that is enjoyable. We are spending 2 weeks here, one down, one to go. :)

This place is amazing! We camp here every time we visit the Smoky Mountains! Plenty of things to do for kids and falling asleep to the sound of the river made the whole experience even better. The new renovation to the bath houses are so freaking cool and classy!

Stay 3 nights in September. The campground is clean and quiet. The bathrooms and shower rooms are exceptional. Prices are fair. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful setting. We tent camped at the end of the island and it was wonderful. Tubing the river is super fun but much wilder than your average float and you can expect a slightly bruised back due to the rapids. Plenty of helpful friendly staff. Nice bathrooms.

Great campground for families. Big playground, walking creek and swimming hole. Not for the quiet adult getaway. Spots are very close together but fairly easy to back into. They have walk in tent camping and yurts as well.
