I didn't have any issues and believed the decency of the lobby clerk to be one redeeming quality of the people of Virginia (and ironically, he was an Asian Indian.) Price was cheap (only $15+tax more than a stay at a campground with electricity access,) and was sufficient for my purpose. It is clear that the infrastructure is more dated than some people are used to, and I did see evidence that people might have slammed their fists into the bathroom tile, and noticed some cracking to the bathroom sink near the drain (which might be the result of people pouring hot water from the coffee maker kept in the bathroom.) It's funky, but sufficient; though I admit I felt like I should have been walking around the carpet with "house shoes," for reason other than formality.

Friendly staff and good service. Just 2 bad things...1. The coffee maker was SUPER dirty so we were not able to use it. 2. Our plan included breakfast but they only served bread and coffee.

It's cheap, so I expected simple. But rooms do not look like the pictures (very messy paint job, very old bathrooms), the pool was closed for "cleaning" the whole time but looked like it isn't operational.

I visited this hotel for a few days July 5th and 6th. The location is perfect. The room was clean a had a fresh smell. The cleanliness of the rooms was a big improvement from times visted months prior.The cleaning crew was very professional and supplied us with everything we needed. The price is affordable and the employees at the front desk was very professional as well. I will be visiting this hotel again in the near future.

Room was "ok". The bathroom smells like clorox but that was good I guess. Csrpet look dirty. The pool look horrible ,even my kids didn't want to swim in there. We saw a lot Of weird people around. Anyway you get what you pay for. Next time we will review and do research for better hotel. Now I am home washing clothes and cleaning everything just in case of bed bugs...
