I am due on April 23rd with my first child and had a meeting with the Nurse Navigator Cindi. She was so sweet and really took her time with me. She explained everything to expect with delivery from the good to the bad. She took me on a tour and showed me the birthing center. I am now excited to have my baby VS. being scared.

My fiancee and I had our first child 02/15/2018 and our stay has been incredible. The nurses make us feel like family. We've had to stay in the NICU for 4 days now and everything has been perfect until a new nurse by the name of Teresa came to our room. She has been sarcastic with my fiancee and called her a slacker. We are new parents and still learning. She seemed to be frustrated when having to get a new swaddler for our son due to urinating on his bed. I did not appreciate it at all. We don't know when our son will be cleared to go home due to low blood sugar and it just feels awkward being here now. I feel like my child will be mistreated if left alone with her. Other than that, our stay has been incredible. Thank you.

I will never go back to tristar Hendersonville Medical center. I went in for emergency surgery 1/27/18. After the surgery they sent me to recovery well the nurses that night 1/27/18 were kind and on top of their game. But no one once came to tell me how the surgery went. So I have no idea what went on while I was under anesthesia. Well morning of 1/28 shift change 7am was horrible I had to ask the charge nurse for a new nurse well the new nurse was better but not on top of her stuff. When I asked questions she asked me question back “is that what they told you” um I don’t know because no one came to follow up with me after the surgery. I asked for my water jug to be refilled 4 times and she never did finally when the cafeteria lady came in to give me my food I asked her and she did it right away. They had also put wraps on both my legs to prevent blood clog well needless to say they never brought in the machine too hook it up after my surgery. So then the nurse takes them off and says I will put them on when I bring the machine. Well hours go by and nothing. Long story short I will not being coming back here and will make sure none of my family or friends do either!! The nurse service is horrible.

This is the absolute worst hospital I have ever visited. My husband sustained a severe injury. Broke 3 ribs, collar bone and punctured a lung. A chest tube was placed in the ER by a very unorganized staff. Dr never washed his hands he just put gloves on the nurses were running around looking lost and my husband screaming at the top of his lungs because the local did not work and he kept telling the Dr that he was not numb. yet the Dr and nurse were in a deep conversation amongst each other of how they usually work at Skyline and about their kids, and the obvious flirting between the nurse and Dr.to even acknowledge that a needle was almost broken off in my husbands rib when he missed the "between" placement. smh fast forward, the accident happened around 2pm he was in the ER by 2:20pm I stayed with him until almost midnight when they was getting him ready to move to the 2nd floor to be admitted. His shirt was cut off, yet his mud ridden pants was not, I couldn't get them off by myself and his entire right torso was in extreme pain they did not get removed until the next day so for at least 12 hours an open wound 6 inches above dirt, debris and whatever else was on his pants at the time of his injury. Im disgusted at the unprofessionalism, uncaring staff, that this hospital employs. This entire stay has been an absolute nightmare, my husband is just in a room, he has asked several times for his IV which is not being used for a continual flow to be moved from his left inner elbow to another spot because with it placed there he has no real ability to even cover his mouth when he coughs or anything. I can go on and on, but I have to make sure my husband is ok being his nurses find it more exciting to sit at the nurses station and talk about how fat a patient is. I wouldn't give it any stars yet I am forced to. Excuse my all over the place I am very stressed. And Yes I spoke to the charge nurse and asked for a transfer, I was told that they would change our minds and show that they were a very good hospital, they have failed on so many levels. I feel they need to be shut down. They have not gotten him out of bed to walk at all, he has just laid there. He coughed and it caused his chest tube to start bleeding quite a bit I summoned 2 nurses I saw in the hall way they walked in looked (not examined just looked from afar) and said " oh yes he's bleeding we need to get his nurse" and they walked out, several minutes later his nurse along with another nurse walked in looked at it (again from afar) and said ok we just need to add more packing. They did NOT check to see if the tube had shifted, moved or anything no xrays and did not even listen to his lungs (I have photos). He requested an oxygen mask as to the cannulas was causing him to have nose bleeds, one of his nurses told him "the oxygen is protocol if you don't feel like you need it just take it off" his stats on his oxygen at that moment was 93 with the flow. She brought him in vaseline and told him to place some in his nostrils but to not use the cannulas when he uses it becasue its a fire hazard. After several hours of being unable to take a deep breath he again called his nurse ( shift change had happened at this point) to please bring him a mask so he can have some oxygen to help with the discomfort of not being able to breathe fully unassisted, the nurse looked confused and stated he should have already had one. We are at day 3 and still no change in the despicable care. I am demanding a transfer today if it takes me calling 911. I am not an over sensitive individual yet a realist and this is beyond anything I've witnessed in medical care. Please for the safety of your loved one do not bring them here.

This place is a joke! My daughter-in-law has had a scheduled induction date for today for weeks. She arrived early this morning only to find out that they dont have a delivery room for her. She was told that it would be after lunch before something will be ready. We have all taken off work to be there with her. So not only is it an inconvenience for her having to be up so early, it is also and inconvenience for us because now we possibly have to either take another day off or miss the birth. They really need to get their act together and when they have appts booked they need to be a priority. The women that have already given birth should have been moved out of the labor and delivery room to make room for the women that are coming in to give birth.
