Bad, just bad. With an elderly relative, and would not even see a nurse for hours on end. Call light is a joke. I gave shower, changed bed and went to nurses' station for drinks. Don't know what would have happened to relative if not for family. Tennova just sees healthcare as a way to make money. Have absolutely no standard of care. Did not want to give even one star.

Seriously the WORST hospital I have EVER been to. I have been 3 times in the last 2 weeks over a navel issue. I was first given antibiotics and told it was infection. I then noticed a soft lump in it on day 7 of the antibiotics (all sign of infection was gone except the pain). I went back to the ER and got the same doctor. He told me finish my last 3 days of antibiotics and it should be gone...if not, call a surgeon. I was literally there 30 mins...from the time I walked in the door till I walked out. 0 test was done. So I did what he said and 4 days later, the pain was completely gone but the lump was not. It wasn't painful but worrisome because it's never been there before and there's no reason it should be there with the infection gone. So I called surgeons and no one would see me without a referral...go figure. I'm new in town and do not have a primary care doctor. So I went back to the ER. I was treated like I was crazy by nurses and doctors from the time I walked in...and told them I was not in pain. I was put in a room, they did blood work and urine test. 2 hours later they come in and the nurse practitioner starts off being rude saying they can't do anything and I need to see a surgeon. I again told her I needed a referral. She looks at my navel and says "I don't see anything that needs treatment." I was flabbergasted. My mother in law who is 73 and half blind can see it! And so could everyone else. I kept pointing it out and even showed her pics I had taken where you could very CLEARLY see it! She still denied seeing it. So then she reaches her finger IN MY BELLY BUTTON WITH NO GLOVES ON! She starts feeling around saying she feels no mass. I again tell her it's soft but you CAN feel it. She then makes a comment about how she feels no draining, you know, with her BARE HAND. I was just floored by this point. She goes on to tell me it's not warm, it's not draining, and it's not painful so it does not need to be treated. VERY RUDE doctor. So I will be seeking another opinion needless to say. It may not be causing symptoms at the moment but either way its not normal nor should it be there. I highly going elsewhere of you're in need of a ER!

Unprofessional in all aspects. The treatment I received was substandard. They kept me for 5 days when I should have been out in 2. When the doctor finally saw me, he wondered why they did not diagnose earlier. To top if off, their billing department screwed up the invoicing. I made one payment then never received another bill for 6 months until I called them. I made a payment as soon as I received my bill and they turned me into collections for the rest of the bill the next month. Enter the hospital at your own risk for your health and your pocketbook.

If you have to choose between dying or going to Tennova willingly, choose death because Tennova is probably the worst place on Earth. The staff was HORRIBLE. I mean, I’ve been in bad places but I’m almost convinced that Tennova is a level of Hell.

Reading reviews had me concerned, but I had a great experience. I was seen in the er . The staff was very nice and helpful. I was taken to triage as soon as I signed in and taken to my room. I was seen my a nurse practitioner who was also really nice. I would recommend this hospital to others
