Great location. Spacious rooms. I would stay here again. Next time I would request a back side room. Typical NYC street noise from the front. Not too loud except I like to sleep with the window open. Staff was polite and helpful.

A great simple hotel. Nice details in the decoration. An amazing bathroom (ah, if all hotels give the attention this one gives to the bathrooms the world will be a much better place) and much, much more important than everything else. Attentious and gentle employees.

Mali at the front desk was particularly helpful. A standout in customer service. Thank you! A rather large Negative for me was the exceptionally "thin" walls, allowing little privacy, and the noises from the next room to be very disturbing and loud. Also, the bathtub drain was extremely slow. So much so that I was standing in above ankle deep water before I could finish my 5-10 minute shower.

This hotel is located right next door to a police station so you get a lot of traffic from NYPD the rooms are just spacious enough to sleep in but not hang out in. Hotel service was pretty good. The concierge suggested a good place to eat. We had to have the hotel hold our bags when we first arrived and they forgot to give us our ticket making it seem like we were the ones in the wrong however they were the ones who made the mistake. There is a small restaurant attached within the lobby making it convenient to have a drink however it's only open till 11 p.m. And breakfast is not provided.

Staff was super friendly. Check in was easy and Elizabeth was very nice. They discounted our parking at check out $5 off a day (which wasn’t expected) so it ended up costing $45/day at Meyer’s across the street. Room was clean and large for NYC. Centrally located to everything. We walked everywhere. Little restaurant inside the TRYP serves the best chicken noodle soup. Drinks were expensive ($12/mimosa) food was inexpensive so it evened out. Only room for improvement I’d note - was the bathroom floor had weird white mold in the floor and walls in the stand-up shower. Other than that it was great.
