The negatives: As a guest I didn't have total control of the AC unit ( someone in charge decided what the temperature in MY room was gonna be). Room kinda small. I felt initially the front desk clerk was trying to over talk me when it came to MY money. Positives: Great location. MOST of the staff were helpful. Hotel was very safe and secure.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean and felt clean. There were no weird smells or stains on the carpets like a lot of places. The staff here was truly top notch. Always great by the front desk when coming and going, the one man (literally one man) who ran the restaurant/bar was so kind and working his tail off. I would recommend this hotel. It is worth noting that you are located on the far end of Times Square and it can be a bit shady. I never felt unsafe when walking at night but be aware of your surroundings. There are quite a few vagrants around. Remember it is NYC and rooms are small, walls are thin, that's just the name of the game. There are only about 8 rooms on each floor and the hallways are TINY so not a lot of room for kids to run around or for people to hang out.

I actually cancelled my hotel booking at the Westin and changed it to Four Points. Why? The location is top notch next to Times Square. The staff are also friendly, and the manager of the location cares a lot. He cares enough to put his card in the front with his cell # (check out my pictures). You also get 2 waters when you go into your room. If you need more, they gave me another 2 at the front desk without hesitation. They recognize your platinum membership level. The only thing I wish was better was the gym. It's insanely tiny, but surprisingly, it gets the job done for a few workouts. What more can you expect from a Four Points? I'll stay here as frequently as I can at a good price. Bravo.

Decent hotel in Midtown. The reception team is super nice! There is refurbishment going on right now (April 2018), I believe they are about to finish. Therefore the bar doesn't really exist. View from our room is attached.

Room was fine- clean and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Location was convenient, however it's right across from the bus terminal, so take that for what it's worth.
