I recommend them to a family member... worst mistake ever!!! The owner was late for pick up and drop off. We missed our flight !!! But is ok, Turo charged us late fees for the owner tardiness. 1.8 stars... I wonder why TURO? Take better care your customers... or keep sending automated emails.

I have never dealt with the company until this week. You need to get approved before you rent a car. You can't get approved over the phone. They communicate with you through email. You need to take a picture of you next to your license and card used. I have never dealt with such a difficult and annoying company. Don't use this company ever.

I don't usually give reviews, but when I saw that this was one star, I figured I would definitely stop in. This is an extremely well-run company with class and proficiency. The website and app are very easy to use. The only time I had a negative experience is when I tried renting a car from someone that has never rented before. As long as the car owner has reviews, it is always an extremely clean car, great professional people lending it out, always available and on time… Such an easy way to rent, especially on weekends or after-hours when rental places are usually closed.

Really good application. The customer service is really friendly and helpful, really helped me out when the ower didnt show up as planned. Best customer service I have experienced so far.

Do not rent from Karina Gomez (like I did) in NW Miami that’s where she keeps all of her cars. She had her uncle Rolando give me the car keys. Her float of cars are along several blocks of car dealers. Karina complained to Turo Co. about 3 scratches I did not do and I was charged $60, she complained after she gave me 5 stars and cunningly waited for me to give her the 5 stars in return too, and within less than 48 hrs., she filed a complaint to Turo Co. The company sent me photos with the supposed scratches that were invisible. I rented from Karina Gomez in Dec., and Jan. (for about 3 weeks), she had a float of about 10 cars, but about 2 days ago from this Writing, I found out that Karina keeps having a bad reputation on Turo. Here’s the story that I lived every second with my mother, I was with her 100% of the time while dealing with Turo and her driving the car. My mother decided to open a Turo account and rent from them last week (Dec., 10-17), but not without paying the Premium coverage per day - after my bad experience with Karina Gomez - and upon the car return, I started telling the Turo car owner details about my bad experience with A Turo rental, and he asked me, was it Karina? Just imagine how bad Karina Gomez reputation is that anybody knows who the bad person is by sharing details of a bad experience. He told us she increased her float to 50 cars, and he asked me, did you MEET Karina? I said, no. Everybody told me the same, they never got to meet her. The type of communication I had with her was text messages, and Karina stated that she never received the $60 from Turo, but just barely less than $15 to purchase a spray to erase the supposed scratch. The Turo man who rented the car to my mother said Karina has bad reviews on Turo Co. - she better. My only hope is that Turo Co. does not pay for good reviews for Karina or anyone else (anywhere in the near future). When I rented from Karina, my husband and I met her uncle, he gave us the keys and we returned the keys to him. He told us that the car was in fine condition and not only him, but we even took photos of it when we returned, but to not avail. Her uncle is in his 40s and he is amicable - but makes part of the complicity. Just so that you keep your eyes open, IT SEEMS that the entire family who runs this renting business is Cuban, so keep your eyes open when renting through Turo in NW Miami, they might change the name of the person who rents to another family member. Also, this SOUNDS FRAUD TO ME with *insurance companies and Turo. The car renter told us my mother and I that if you do not solve the problem with the car renter and decide to complain with Turo instead, they will cancel your account. I asked him, are you a fortune reader? Because that’s what Turo Co, did: they canceled my account. I tried to solve it with Karina Gómez since the beginning, but she cut me short and stated she had no way to help me, and to contact Turo to solve the refund. NOW, YOU ARE WARNED! If you have no option but to rent from Turo (they do not ask for a deposit), do a video recording when returning the car like my mother did, it is always best to prevent. We asked the person to check the car inside first and go around the car, then we Video recorded him saying that my mother (first and last name, out loud along with the vehicle type) returned the car with no damage and that the bumps it had were from previous renters.
