Coolest place i ever went. Doug is a super cool and nice guy

Doug and Erik at U.P. Garage are some of the nicest and smartest Datsun Z and GTR Specialists in the area. You can tell the level of their expertise by the caliber of projects that they have in the shop and attention to detail they put into every project. They have a very reasonable turnaround time on their work and keep you updated every single step of the way. I am very impressed with their ability to consistently keep me updated in the repair process and with anything else that catches their eye. This was very helpful since I did not have extra time to come down to the shop and check on the repairs in person. Erik made sure to keep in constant contact as he worked on my GTR and he provided me with updated pictures of the repair work (exactly where coolant was leaking underneath the intake plenum). While Erik was working on my GTR he was very observant and careful to find and fix any other leaks. He was also able to help diagnose a couple of errors with a high-low speed switch affecting my power steering quickly. Their customer service is outstanding! They were always very helpful in explaining the work that needed to be done. They even went so far as to ensure I had a way to return home after I initially dropped off my car and they were even courteous enough to drop me off at the bus stop so I would not have to walk in the heat. I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle back to Doug and Erik at UP Garage or recommend them.

this place likes to take your car apart then tell you they aren't able to fix it. best advice is to stay far away.

Was looking to see they could swap a 2JZ fully built in my 350z but this "Doug" guy lol gives me his retarded input.  Try's to tell me it's a heavy car and bs.  If you do your homework pal weight reduction on these cars is easy, but I guess he's just too bright so he can't work on em. Well that sucks! I guess I'll just take my money and business else where. Good luck with your "shop talk" business!
