This Doctors office has billed my fiancé incorrectly on 2 occasions..  IF you go here look at your statements!  This place is the reason health care is so costly..  They charge specialist prices for primary care quality doctors..  If you're going to pay so much for a family physician , make it worth it and go to the Mayo Clinic.. This place will not think twice about overcharging you, and makes excuses until they realize the mistake..  What a joke of a doctors office..  Everything wrong with healthcare in one place!

Despite the reviews, I have had a great experience at UF Health Kernan. My appointments are always on time and the staff is very pleasant. Dr. Sharma listens to my concerns and always replies promptly to any questions I may have following test results or appointments. They also have a very convenient online portal. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good Primary Care doctor.

I was helping my Mom to make an appointment with them. They gave us an appointment after 2 weeks . Then on the appointment date she arrived 15 minutes earlier than her appointment  with all paper work completed because they have mailed to her the paper work . The staff there refused to accept her saying that she should be here 30 min before her appointment. They didn't  feel any mercy toward a 67 years old lady who was wearing her Muslim dress. This opens a discrimination issue against her in providing health care.

My son needed a physical for school. So I made an appointment which was 2 weeks later from the time I called which is stupid that that was the first appointment available. Which is always the case. It was also the last day to get it done because his tryouts where also the same day! Don't know what you are to do if your kids are sick. They would have already suffered and got better in two weeks. Anyway back to the matter at hand. Get to the appointment and I am told that if they have to fill out the paperwork from the school (witch is two pages mind you) they have to charge me a $45 deductible for a "sports physical". Which the only difference is that they have to fill out the paperwork from the school! Thats it! Also he had the same thing done last year at the same place and we were not charged. Also had his twin brothers physicals done three days earlier at a different place and didn't get charged for anything. The same paperwork! The same insurance company! (Which they tried to blame it on) Same physical! So now I'm stuck either paying the $45 which I don't have being, I'm injured and can't work with 4 kids, or telling my son he can't play basketball at school! Of course I'm not going to make him suffer because of the greedy bone heads here! He will never come here again!  I'm changing his doctor to his brothers doctor.

WARNING MALPRACTICE & LACK OF CARE!!!
WAS LATER HOSPITALIZED DUE TO NEGLIGENCE!

I was already not sure about continuing services with this company but after my last visit, I am definitely moving on and warn others to reconsider their services!

I came in with a severe sinus infection that was creating a blinding headache and high blood pressure "138/78" I'm 26 and have never had high blood pressure in my life and ended up in the emergency room later that same evening.
Dr. Liao on staff came in, asked me to move from the patient table to a regular seat and without examining me said "I hear you think you have a sinus infection, I think it's allergies."
Me: "I don't have allergies."
Him "allergies can be developed over time."
Me: "okay what should I do about the pressure? It's overwhelming and the other day when I put pressure on my sinus cavity, fluid squirted out of my eye and nose at the same time."
Him: " you need to be taking Flonase for your head congestion, Claritin, and Dextromethorphan for your cough."
Me: " I don't have a cough."
Him: "you are here for me to teach you how to take care of your illnesses and this is what you need."
Me: "okay, how long until I come back if I’m not getting better?"
Him: "not needed, of your not improving that's how you know you have allergies."

I literally left the office with no help for the sinus pain that I have had for over a week at this point. Later that evening I had to check into the hospital where my blood pressure was still extremely high from the sinus pain. They diagnosed me with sinusitis and provided me with antibiotics. It finally went away a few days later.

I now have a $500 Hospital bill (After Insurance) and UF Health has collected my Insurance and REFUSE to do anything about Dr. Liao's Negligence! Sarah in the office called me after my initial complaint and a agreed I should I have been treated better but after I requested for them to either 1. Pay my hospital bill or 2. Not collect my insurance money she has recanted everything she said and says I was not mistreated.
