Insuring packages is a sham! Send them FedEx or UPS. 
Created an online account, attempted to file a claim 3 times. Won't allow pictures of broken item etc which is required. Then timed-me-out because I tried many ways to get pictures to proper "box". 
Then went to p.o. for help. Was told it must be done online.
Called the number on receipt, no option to place claim. Tried to call local p.o. took me to same "loop". 
USE FEDX OR UPS OR AMAZON ETC.

they don't even deserve a star , worst terrible customer service ever , they don't take responsibility ,didn't deliver on time ,also SO SO SO  rude to customer.    what kind of people working there ? so stupid   . poor Kentucky USPC ...

Such a WORST POST OFFICE EVER!!!!  POOR SERVICE!!!!  Their service can make customers sick! Get headaches!!!

Dumbest phone "service" I've ever encountered!!  If you press "0" to try to bypass their idiot computer, the stupid computer cuts the call!  No wonder no one uses the USPS anymore; they've lost the ability to think about what customers want.
