If you are able, go to another post office or use UPS or Federal Express. This particular post office location on Creative Drive seems determined to rip its customers off. One I went in with a thin, stuff envelope with a single sheet of paper it it. It was one of the USPS stiff envelopes they sell for photographs. As I handed the envelope to the clerk, he interrupted me, turned to his co-worker and asked the, "Is this a parcel?" The other clerk said "no" and my clerk then allowed it to go through as an envelope. (Really? He needed to ask about that?). Another time, when I was shipping over $200 worth of packages off - all heavily insured - and one of them was fragile, I asked the clerk if she could mark it or stamp it "fragile" on it and she replied that she "would have to charge my an additional $5.00 if she stamped the package "fragile." My experiences with this branch have really made me dislike and distrust the US Postal Service. Every interaction I have experienced at this location makes me see what a petty and low-quality organization the USPS has become. Save your money and get better service, ship anything that weighs more than 12 ounces with UPS or FedEx.

Stopped delivering our mail without notice due to not being allowed to carry a key to our building. After days of no delivery I went in, they explained the issue. I got my mail, they also handed me mail for everyone in the building. I gave back the mail that wasn't mine. I had a key box put on the building... still no delivery I called they said we needed a key box, I said we have one, they said it was the wrong kind. I asked which kind, they said the normal one, the landlord would know. The landlord said the one we had was the normal one. I went picked up my mail gave them the code they said we should start getting deliveries again. A few days passed, no mail I called, they said there was no key box. I went and picked up my mail, they gave me the mail for everyone in the building again. I gave them back the mail for the others. A few days later deliveries started coming as usual. Now about 6 months later, no delivery today. The tracking says that they couldn't get in the door, the box is they're the code is on file. I wonder if when I go pick up my mail on Tuesday if they'll give me the mail for everyone in the building?

I am 7 months pregnant and today I was kicked out of the Liberty Road Station post office. I was threatened by the female Liberty Road Station supervisor with "Police Action" for seeking follow up customer service. Today I went to the Liberty Road Station post office 2041 Creative Dr #100, Lexington, KY 40505 (which I patronize often) to receive a refund of $64.60 that I was verbally promised on December 29, 2016 by a supervisor named Jeff. I had shipped a package Dec. 14 with the guarantee that my package would arrive to it's destination by Christmas. Well - it didn't arrive by Christmas - in fact it didn't arrive until January 2017! On December 29 I drove to the post office, stood in line and talked to a worker named Charles. He said he didn't know how to handle the situation so he went to get his supervisor, Jeff. After looking at my receipt Jeff said I would receive a refund of $64.60 once there was confirmation that the package was delivered. Didn't make sense to me but he ASSURED me three times that if I returned with a receipt and proof that the package had been delivered I would recieve my refund (Tip: Get everything is writing - rookie mistake on my part). Today, January 25, 2017, with proof of delivery, I went to get my promised refund. Again, Charles was there. He, again, didn't know what to do so he went to get a supervisor. She had a brown bob, light blue glasses, purple shirt, black vest, 50/60s. She said I was not entitled to a refund. I said "Jeff guaranteed I would get a refund" to which she responded "Well, he's new, he doesn't know what he's talking about - he's not here today". I again stated "I was promised a refund". I have a photo on my phone (which I have attached to this post) of the USPS advertisement that says "Money Back Guarantee to Certain destinations" - I even asked the original worker when I mailed the package if it would arrive by Christmas - she said "Yes ma'am, you got in just under the wire!" Brown bob said I mailed it in the wrong format and that I was not entitled to a refund and that the destination I mailed it to didn't count for a money back guarantee. I pursued more information. I asked questions. I said "this is gross incompetence" (Definition: Willingly misleading a client or failing to look out for the client's best interest). She then said, "THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER GET OUT OR I AM CALLING THE POLICE". Charles just stood there looking embarrassed. Another older blonde worker with glasses just stared blankly ahead. Had I heard correctly? She had just threatened to call the police on a woman who is 7 months pregnant for wanting customer service? Are you kidding me? I got my phone out to go call the 800 number she reluctantly gave me to pursue the matter further- she said I wasn't allowed to call from inside the building or she was CALLING THE POLICE. I was just standing there about to use my phone. Not making a scene - not raising my voice. Utterly in shock. Don't tax payers pay for that building? Anyway, she threatened to call the police on me several times because she didn't want to help me. I called the 800 # and spoke with a really kind representative and got a case number. I am waiting to hear back from someone regarding what happened. Don't patronize this location if you can help it. They will humiliate you if you question them. They don't do a good job or care if they do a good job. Each worker has a different idea of how things operate and that's what caused my issue. This was the third time I drove from my home to this post office for assistance regarding this matter and got different information each time. I really wish I had made a video of the extremely irrational performance the "supervisor" gave because of a paying customer seeking customer service. I am deeply dissatisfied and embarrassed. I will not be back to this location.
