Mail run 2-3 times a week!!.Mail Carriers does not come when they are suppose to. When calling to complaint the supervisor here gave me more attitude then the manager(which was a nice friendly guy)So Happy I moved away from this post office district.Terrible Services😠

I LOVE the Govans Post Office, dependable, knowledgeable, friendly staff.  Have you been to another post office?  None compare to Govans.

I did not know this post office existed until today when I went in line. I usually go to Homewood. I do not like the service there. Funny thing is it's just about the same distance to Govans and Homewood. Despite some of the negative reviews I read on line I thought I would try Govans for the first time. Glad I did. Great experience today.  Thanks Ashley!

The women at the front were kind and really tried to help,  but I had a terrible experience here and hope that I never have to go back here again.

I was tracking an important package that I'd been expecting online only to see it had been marked undeliverable because of my address( I live on a college campus and mail is strange in the summer.)  Since the post office is only two blocks from my house I decided to walk down and retrieve it, this was the same day it had been marked undeliverable.  I give them the tracking number and address and after thirty minutes, no one can seem to locate it.  Finally an extremely rude and unprofessional supervisor told me that they had already decided to send it back where it came from, California.  I asked her if she knew my address was a campus one and she eventually told me yes.  So why didn't you just give it to campus mail, why didn't you put it on a shelf for a few days and see if I would come in, why didn't you see if a phone number was associated with the package and call me, why didn't you put a slip on my door(since my neighbor five houses down gets mail you have to still come on my block), or why don't you take the tracking number that I'm giving you now and locate the package and have it sent back!!!!  It's been four hours I'm sure it's not back in California.  Basically, why don't you do your job!!!!  If it wasn't for online tracking I never would've known why my package didn't come.  I had to contact the sender and ask them to keep an eye out and resend it.  Which means I have to pay for express shipping TWICE!  Again I appreciate the clerk but the supervisor made it obvious that she didn't care about me or my situation and I hate this lousy post office!  Go to another one if you can or use UPS or FedEx!

This is one of the best post offices in Baltimore. The person who said it was "ghetto" obviously hasn't met many actual ghetto post office workers. I try to go here whenever I can since it is definitely the most pleasant and polite post office in Baltimore... it is annoying that it's so far from my home, so it is sometimes out of my way, but it's definitely worth it to get treated better then most of the more inner city post offices. I would say that this one, the Hampden location, Waverly, and Downtown Calvert St  branches are the best in the city. I try to avoid the others.
