I am sorry to see how others feel treated. I love this PO -- rarely are there lines, and the staff have been great. I read the negative reviews about sullen service at the Hampden PO, and I have experienced it at Roland Park 21210. My question: Why are SO many staff at SO many post offices around the country (I have seen this in NYC and NC) SO unfriendly and project such negative vibes???? Aren't they getting paid enough? Enough health care benefits and pensions? Why isn't the US postal service and/or the postal workers union addressing this? A SMILE goes a MILE, but it is obvious that customers are not seeing enough of them.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was asking about paperwork for a replacement passport. The clerk started off by walking away from the desk to have a personal conversation with a co-worker. She came back to tell me about the conversation. I asked about a document for a replacement passport and the clerk gave me the original document to apply for a passport. A customer in line (trying to be helpful) suggested a different post office that does walk ins for passport. The clerk lost her mind. To the point of calling the customer rude and flashing her name tag from under her coat. Her exact words were "If you want help, ask him". She then refused to give me any help on which location provides walk ins or scheduling an appointment for a new passport and loudly expressed "I have a headache". Unnecessary. Rude.

Never received a package that the postal carrier insists he delivered. Checked with every neighbor in my building & it was not delivered by accident to anyone in my building. The place I ordered from was kind enough to send the package out again (at their cost) by FEDEX. I was told by this post office that I should have purchased insurance for the package. There wasn’t an option for me to purchase insurance for an item I ordered through the website. The customer doesn’t usually have the option of purchasing insurance for an item the customer ordered. You definitely should purchase insurance if using USPS to ship a package. I certainly believe the package was mid-delivered but cannot prove it. If the carrier acknowledges electronically that an item is delivered, the post office accepts that as proof unless proven otherwise. I’ve gotten mail in my mailbox that doesn’t belong to me so I know that it can happen. I absolutely have no faith in the USPS anymore.

Employee yelled at me for approaching the desk when it was my turn in line: "I have not SAID you could approach me yet." When I apologized and took at step backward she yelled at me again: "Stay where you are!" Happy holidays to you too.

What a despicable place ! Lead clerk should not be employed by USPS. RACIST Angry and horrifying to customers. Lead clerk had minimal knowledge about passport information. Rambled and rambled ,no accurate information so being a helpful customer in line, I tried to actually help customer. Lead clerk screamed and attempted to insult me for absolutely no reason. Her quote of the year is " This aint yo job so don't talk when you come in here" Damm right it's not ! I run multinational corporations and this woman is not suited to clean our septic systems! WAKE UP USPS..
