Reviews

A lot of negative reviews here but I've been a handful of times and have not had a bad experience. They can be "understaffed" at times but it's all relative. If you happen to come at a busy time, like lunch time, when everyone is trying to run their errands it's gonna be slow. I don't fault the PO for that. They can't employ 10 ppl when it's not gonna be busy the majority of the time.

What compelled me to write a review was that I just went to mail a package and the rep Ms Johnson went above and beyond. I admittedly tried to stuff an item into a flat rate box that was slightly too large. Ms Johnson not only found me another box, free of charge, but she cut and taped it in some fancy type way to make sure my item fit. She also provided padding. She could have told me to come back with a box, or made me buy one but she didn't.

Thank you Ms Johnson!

I almost didn't come here because of all the negative reviews, but i was near so i gave it a tr and i was pleasantly surprised. At 3pm on a Thursday there were two people working the counter and only three people in front of me. I was in and out in about 5 minutes and Ms Johnson was super friendly although she did admit that sometimes only one person works the counter and the line has been known to go out the door! Thankfully that was not today. Worst part about this post office for me was the parking. To get a spot near it you will probably have to park in a no stopping spot.

It's a post office. Has anyone ever had a good experience at the post office? This place wasn't any different. The staff was slow, but not rude. Just, knowing they didn't have to try very hard.

The building itself is cool and historic. There wasn't a line when I went, so for that, and that alone, it gets an extra star. I think I just lucked out though on timing.

These guys do a great job with the resources they are provided.  If we want better service we need to devote more tax revenue to the postal service.

When I first moved to Baltimore over a year ago I was not looking forward to going to this post office location after reading all the bad reviews! I've been coming here on a regular basis and I have nothing to say but good things. There is only one employee who is very rude and not helpful other than that all the ladies that work there are great and very much on top of their job.
