Sent a package to my aunt through here, wasn't informed that it was "lost" and put into dead mail. Waited FIFTY FOUR MINUTES for someone to RECITE the address that is supposedly not listed on the box (despite the fact that there was a sticker and it was written on the box as well.) Do you ever wonder why you're losing out to companies like UPS and Fedex? This is why, USPS.

THE WORST. I opened a P.O. Box for business purposes. When I got to the counter (toward the end of the day), the clerk ("Mrs. B") said, it's the end of the day...as if she did not want to service me. She charged me for an entire year, even though I told her I wanted to pay 6 months. I paid anyway. I got keys, but they did not work on the assigned box. She told me to come back another time and try because the possibly needed to "spray" the box. I leave and come back. The key does not work. So I'm "assigned" another box with 2 keys. This box works, but I notice tape over the box. I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure of the procedure of getting a box. I check the box over a period of 2 months. No mail. Tape still there. Finally, I reach through the box and take the tape off to read a note that said, "Box vacant, do not put mail in this box." Alarmed, I told the clerk who went looking for my application. They never assigned me the box they gave me keys for!! How ridiculous! I've put this P.O. Box on several business documents. They could not find my application and the original clerk who "handled" my first application says, "Well, can you fill out another one?" Uh, no! Where is the first one with my information on it?! I asked to speak with a manager. I swear the girl looking for my paperwork walked back there and walked back up. They gave me "R. Johnson's number" and told me I would get a credit. How am I going to get a credit if you don't have my information? I called the number 3x, which is disconnected! Irritated, I go to the location where "R. Johnson" is supposed to be. I get there, the clerks at that office don't even know who I'm talking about. I drive back to the Maynard Jackson location to find that they've closed for the day. Meanwhile, my time sensitive mail was returned to the sender. All because "Ms. B." was ready to go, and too lazy to do the process correctly. The place is a sty.

Wouldn't let me give ZERO STARS! The worst mail experience I've ever had! I expected an overnight package last week. Tracking status has been stuck on "in transit to destination" for 4 days. No one takes accountability and no one has answers on the whereabouts of my package. WHY DOES THE FEDERAL GOVT THINK IT SHOULD STILL HANDLE/MANAGE MAIL!?
