Royal oak, Berkley Michigan location. I have called the postal service in royal oak mi more then 5 times regarding my lost mail. I have left many messages for the post master Ms. Rambo.  I have left messages to the manager(the post master is their boss) asking for the post master to return my call and have received nothing. This is an absolute nightmare and what makes it even more scary is no one governs or mandates them. A dividing group within their department handles these complaints. 

I sent a normal letter(5 x 7) with 2 postal stamps on it with a letter in it. The mail was never mailed to the collector. I then recieved a pink redelivery tag a few weeks later. Following the info on the pink slip and it did not work online when I imputed the tracking number on the pink slip. I then called the number and they basically said they could not help me.  After this I called USPS royal oak and spoke to someone named Dawn and told her my issues, absolutely nothing. I then went to the Berkley mi location and spoke to them directly and he went in the back to look for my letter but stated since the mail was not picked up within 14 days it went to their lost mail in Atlanta Georgia which is all a lie. I have currently been on hold waiting to speak with the manager Joyce of the Royal oak postal center ultimately asking for Ms. Rambo to call me.  They later told me finding my letter would be like finding a needle in a haystack(and after 90 days of it being in the lost mail department, it gets terminated). I have absolutely no idea why the mail was never sent back to me.  Joyce left a message to the post master asking for her to contact me. Please advise me on how to take legal action about this and or file a formal complaint that actually will serve a purpose.  The letter was extremely valuable.

For the most part my experience is good but there have been times when the carriers where I live have been just plain out and out lazy. Not delivering ads and on two separate occasions three most recent being yesterday, not picking up my out going mail. Yesterday the carrier literally just didn't take it she put mail in my box and left a package I was returning to Amazon hanging on my box where I clipped it with a post it note saying it was out going. Mind you it wasn't heavy but the envelope was bigger than my mailbox. I'm sorry that's just unprofessional and lazy. I called the post office they took my complaint but no response yet from the supervisor Kim said she would inform. I'm disabled and can't get to the post office. The last time this happened it was with very important benefit information that I had to make several phone calls to keep from losing because the papers were not going to arrive on time. Just plain frustrated.

I had a great experience here on Friday when I had to send off a phone to someone. As well as grab some stamps. I even was able to get $50 cash back (which is their limit). Saved me some time and shipping was explained well to me. I recommend this location.

Well , this post office always gives me pause when buying something online , will I get it or will it get missed delivered.  I have missed a court date in the past where then I had a bench warrant,  and many other times . Can't wait to move ...

We recently  moved to Royal Oak and within two weeks of living here I’ve had many incidents with package deliveries. The most recent was yesterday. The package was marked out for delivery at 10:30 am along with a second package. One package was thrown on my porch but package was missing. Later that evening the other package still showed out for delivery but was updated as “ no access”  I’m confused by what this meant since I live in a single family home and have a driveway. The little mail Jeep could have easily pulled into my drive and opened the mailbox and put the item in without ever getting out out. Snow could not be an issue as there is none. I think someone got lazy and wanted to finish early. I guess I’ll have to start upgrading shipments to UPS as they appear to have more energetic employees.
