I am at the Post Office almost everyday and get great service. They are under-staffed but do an excellent job of handling all of their customers....even the ones who are unprepared and don't know what they are doing. God bless their patience!!

Barbara is awesome! I don't know who these other reviewers dealt with, but she was so helpful to me, finding the cheapest quickest option for my nieces b day gifts. Sweet lady. Also, guess what.. When you treat people like people, you tend to get that in response. Compared to almost every other post office where most employees are rude even when you are nice, Barbara is a diamond in the rough!

Everytime i come to this location, the staff is very friendly to me and makes sure to say hi. I don't mind the lines because they move quickly.

I've called about 5 times maybe my whole life, and every time the lady who picks up gives me an attitude and never helps. Horrible service.

It's no surprise that the vast majority of customer reviews for the Fulton Post office are 100% negative. This post office is horrible when it comes to customer service. The main and only reason customer service is horrible is because of Barbara (supervisor or wanna-be postmaster). A manager can make or break an organization, and Barbara has proven this here. She is the most negative, miserable, grumpy, and uneducated postal employee I know. Her lack of postal knowledge frustrates most customers to the point that they don't want to go back. Instead, they elect to drive further up the road to the Highland or Laurel post office. The other employees are actually pretty good; except they fear Barbara when she is around. Barbara sets the tone. One employee in particular told me (off the record) that Barbara makes their lives miserable if they don't follow "Barbara's own made-up rules and interpretations". I've personally escalated Barbara to the regional post master who told me "Barbara was never properly trained when she was a clerk and this may be a reason for her in over-charging for flat rate shipping packages". He committed that "Barbara was going to receive training to correct her lack of skills". Unfortunately I do not believe that happened, or Barbara slept through the class. She still makes up her own rules on the fly and makes statements like "it's best to over-pay". Barbara needs to be retired; she is a classic example of why people "go postal".
