I have used the Leisure World Post office numerous times and I found the staff excellent. At times they are very busy - wish they had more help - but they act very professional when interacting with the public.  Sometimes the public feel that they are entitled to be waited on the moment they arrive which isn't the case if there are a line of people who have arrived before them.  The public needs to learn to be patient and stop demanding.  Ms. Young has done an excellent job - especially when under pressure.  I wish people would understand that when they come into the Post Office, they can't always drop their boxes off in front of the line. They MUST wait their turn.  It would also be nice to hear "please" and thank you" more from the public.

I went to the post office yesterday morning.  The hours on the door and on the website both show that this specific post office is open until 5PM on Saturdays.  I arrived at 11:45AM and the door was locked.  I noticed that there were a lot of customers inside so I figured this must be a mistake.  I stood outside for 10 minutes and nobody came to unlock the door.  Even the customers inside who were trying to leave the store could not leave since the door was locked.  They never did let me in so I drove to the Twinbrook location that was open until 1PM.  They had 4 people working, no lines, and very friendly.  I am never going back to Leisure World again.

I recently visited this post office I was sending a large package to New York,  when it was my turn I got up to the counter and sat my box on the counter to tape it with the tape I purchased from the postal facility, The postal clerk Ms. Young did not greet me or smile or say hello , the first thing she said was take that box off of my counter I asked her if they had any tape behind the counter or do I have to buy one she said you have to buy it , I said ok and proceeded to tape up my box,  when she started yelling and demanding I remove my box from her counter , I politely asked her if she could please take my package because I was in a hurry, she proceeded to yell and demand I remove my box from her counter because I was holding up the line when there was only one other person behind me in the entire store.  So then she refused to process my package and took my box and threw it to the side and continued to be rude and disrespectful by yelling at me and telling me I'm holding her up,  then I said Ms Young do you have to be so rude it's only one other person in line she kept screaming you didn't do what I asked you, I said wow Ms. Young your extremely rude for no reason she was so loud her coworker that was in the back showed up to see why she was yelling,  but her coworker didnot bother to assist her,  finally it was my turn when I got to the counter, she said all you had to do was move I said well you didn't have to be rude and disrespectful for no reason, I was not rude to you all I did was ask a question. in conclusion Ms Young is gave poor customer service at this location I will not recommend anyone to ever go there .

This is the most unprofessional post office in the U.S. The postal worker, Ms. Young, is incompetent and attitudinal. The lobby is scheduled to open at 9am and as expected its currently 9:30a and no one has unlocked the door to open this location for the day...hopefully there's a budget cut coming soon that will force this location to close permanently.
