Delicious food in a gorgeous modern mountain restaurant. Everything tasted fresh and was very well prepared. The Brussels sprouts were delicious, and that hot sauce was dynamite! I want to put that on everything. The scallops were absolute perfection, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. For dessert, we had the special which was a decadent brookie brownie cookie combo with homemade vanilla ice cream. Wow!
Among the other more upscale restaurants in Bozeman, Urban Kitchen stands out for feeling more, well, urban. The exposed concrete walls and somewhat industrial decor create an interesting atmosphere that’s still inviting. The food was excellent, it’s clear that the kitchen puts pride into their work. The homemade pasta was delicious, the burger and fries! were very satisfying, and the lemon zest in the brick chicken was the perfect touch that made the dish shine. We had the lavender lemon crème brûlée for dessert, which was well balanced and very subtly flavored. The service was excellent as well. The one thing that made this four stars instead of five was the chairs. They’re so uncomfortable! It’s virtually impossible lean back and relax because they’re too low and dig into your back. Maybe just a touch too “urban”.
Bit dark for my taste in lighting. Steak was fantastic. Truffle fries were very good! Huckleberry drink was just the right amount of tartFood: 5/5
Delicious food and hospitable service. The Korean Fried Chicken was a little dry and very bread-heavy, but the sauce saved it and was great with the mashed potatoes. Salmon was cooked to order and had an Asian twist to it, being also served with egg rolls.
Unassuming and understated. This restaurant had two of the best meals I've ever tasted. - a salmon with glaze over rice and a sous vide pork chop that was grilled to perfection! Add a glass of white pinot, and you're all set!Food: 5/5
This is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at And I’ve traveled the world and back many times. You can tell they use good local ingredients, because the food bursts with flavor and a perfection of home made Italian seasoning…. I can’t praise them enough for their good food and amazing service. Thank you to our bar tender, Kate W., our server Sierra, and most of all our Chef Joe who is a master to say the least. Best wishes to all of you, and bless your hearts.
Had a bison burger with truffle fries. Well cooked and there was a good amount of truffle oil on the fries. Service was fast and friendly.
Decent options and tasty menu! A bit too salty for the salmon fried rice though.
Sat at bar and enjoyed the environment. Everything I ate and drank was excellent. I had the pork belly app and was perfect combination of flavor. Then had the bison tenderloin and everything was cooked to perfection. The bartender kept making this huckleberry cocktail so had to get it just for sheer beauty of the drink. Was very good drink and not as sweet as I expected which was good but very refreshing.
Delicious drinks and a nice waitress. Our food experience was actually terrible. We ordered the rib-eye special, both cooked medium. One came out well done and the other medium rare. My carbonara was completely tasteless and had a gritty, heavy sauce on it. I ate 2 bites and couldn’t stomach another it was so bad. Our party of 4 bill was $450. When we asked to speak to the manager to share our experience before we left, we were told he went home drunk… not a great experience, and for that price, we won’t be going back.
