Story

Urban Tails Pet Supply is a family run, community minded, independent pet supply store. We have an experienced & passionate staff that are happy to help you find local, healthy products for your cat, dog, rabbit, or other small pet. We give back to the community through donations and special fundraising events. We are located in Uptown, Minneapolis and offer free delivery across the metro area!

We offer Orijen, Acana, Solid Gold, Primal, Sojos, Nutrisource, Open Farm, Taste of the Wild, Fromm, Nature's Variety, Oxbow and many other brands. We are pet nutrition experts!

We love fun and unique toys, treats, collars, cat supplies, supplements and shampoos.

We hold adoption events at our store every weekend and offer nail trim and vaccination clinics in-store once a month!

Pro tip: we have a shared parking lot with Rudolph's BBQ to our north on Lyndale Ave S, and are conveniently located across the street from the Wedge Community Co-op.

Urban Tails is one of the best stores I've been too. The staff are extremely well-trained, knowledgeable and have taught me more than I ever would have imagined about being a pet guardian and the pet food industry.  Every person that works there is super genuine and interested to talk to you and find the specific items that will be best for your pet and their health. So fortunate and grateful to have them in the neighborhood - I couldn't imagine buying pet supplies anywhere else. They also have sweet customer deals on products from time to time, discounts if you visit multiple times and brand-based punch cards in which you can get a bag/can etc. free.  They love pets and their customers - can't imagine going anywhere else.

I simply Love this place. The owners are amazing, incredibly knowledgeable on legit healthy foods and toys for your cat, Amazon doesn't even compare to them. Better prices. Plus my cat Apollo loves traveling and he loves them as much as I do. I would work there if they offered me a job.

Hands down the best place for pet food. Everyone of the employees is helpful and knows a lot about the food and other pet supplies. It is very apparent that they all love pets and want the best for everyone who walks in! 😻🐶🐺🐱

They are the best, the very best.  They deliver dog food to your door at no cost.  We ordered dog food at 7 pm tonight, and they delivered at 8pm.  She said the driver was out sick tomorrow, so she was doing some deliveries tonight.  Take that Amazon---one hour free delivery.  They sure are dedicated to their customers.  

They also have a great selection of everything, kind staff and competitive prices.  Great local business.  Feels good to shop here.
