I've lived near this post office for about 12 years, and delivery service has improved (slightly) in that amount of time, but the in-person service has not. Every time I go in there, I remember why I normally buy my stamps elsewhere and ship packages from the downtown location. Three days ago, I received a "delivery attempted" notice for a package that requires in-person signature. It contains a QR code and number for online instructions, so I went online and requested it be delivered on Saturday, when I could be home to sign for it. I received confirmation that my request had been received, and in the past 24 hours, not one, but two email confirmations that the package would be delivered today. I waited at home all day to be sure I wouldn't miss it--and went to the door when I heard neighbor's dogs barking. Mailman dropped items in my mailbox and kept walking--I chased him down and asked him about package. He checked truck, called post office, they claimed they didn't have it. I showed him email confirmation. He called back, "oh yes, they have it at the post office. You can go pick it up. It requires a physical signature so the online request isn't valid." (Which is ridiculous, the note provided info on requesting redelivery online, and when I filled out the form, I selected the fact the notice had marked "Signature required.) I pointed out that it was Saturday and the post office closed two hours earlier. Oh, right. Monday's a holiday, sign this and we'll redeliver on Tuesday. Based on prior interactions with this post office, I very much expect to get another "delivery attempted" notice on Tuesday, and I'll have to wait until *next* Saturday to go pick it up in person.

Luchie was such a helpful employee. She helped me cut my box down so I wouldn’t have to pay an extra $15 for an oversized package. I enjoy visiting this post office. The people here are nice folks — you just have to be nice to them!

Cmon guys, they're not that bad really. They have successfully delivered every package I have ever had sent to me.

My experience with the Valley Junction USPS has been absolutely awful. Probably the most heartless, lazy, rude people I've talked to. My package has been sitting in their facility for over a week and I've called multiple times to find out why I haven't received my package. I first talked to Kristy, who didn't care at all to listen to my concerns. She wouldn't admit that they lost it - She just wanted to get off the phone asap. She promised me that she would call me back once she found out, but never did. The next time I talked to Charles who also didn't care to figure out the issue, but cared a tiny bit more than Kristy at least. He too, promised me he would call me back and once again, never did. Before I hung up the phone I asked for his bosses name so when he didn't call me back I would know who to ask for. He never called back that day, so I called this morning for Lora (boss) and she was somehow less caring than the other two. She at least admitted, finally, that Valley Junction USPS lost my package. When I asked what they would do to make this right, she said "nothing". I asked why they don't solve problems they create and she said "we just don't". She never once apologized or came up with a solution for them losing my package. I'm now out my money, never received my product from Amazon, and got treated with heartless disrespect by three employees from this location. This facility is a complete joke with customer service. Their boss, wherever this person is, needs to train their employees better, or hire people who actually care about others and fix issues that they create. Lora also promised she would call if they found anything out, but I'm guessing that call wont happen either.

I have had mail on hold at this post office for two weeks or more and I have picked it up twice and now today I call and get told again nothing and that the post master is on vacation that is same excuse I get every time I call. People are ruid at window and on phone they act like they are going out of the way to help isn't that what customer service is if I was boss there would be a lot of people gone. I filed a complaint with the government and told them all the people in that post office need to be let go . I am sick of being treated like I am a no body. I should have mail I have bills also and was gone and back that is why I put on hold . so who is take the mail or throwing it away . I call get busy single or the fax machine
