This is the Worst post office!  There are constant problems receiving my packages! They often ship back packages to the retailer instead of delivering to me! To make things worse, I caught them in a lie the last 2 times they lost my package.  The Tracking system will say the post office has your package and often you won't even receive a notice or anything until you call them. If they locate it, usually it is in the back sitting on a
table somewhere. If you don't go in and demand they find your package, they just return it!! This is Unreliable service and dishonest. So frustrating!!

Very bad management, but individual employees arent all incompentent. I have had packages sit in the back for 3 days multiple times without any care from workers though. If possible, avoid.

This post office gets more and more frustrating as the time goes on. My package had a delivery date of friday according to online tracking. On Saturday i went to check my box, still nothing. I was able to talk to the post office worker who i saw through my open po box. She told me shes working on it and to come back later. I came back later to an empty box but was able to speak with another worker through my box who told me too bad about your package and not to expect anything until Tuesday because they are busy.. i understand that the holiday season puts a strain on everybody in the shipping industry but its not like this is any surprise to anybody. This happens every single year during the holiday sesson. Hire more workers or transfer people over to handle the extra workload. Dont tell your customers too bad we have too many packages and WE could not fulfil OUR delivery commitment that I paid for!!! The sad thing about all of this is that this is how it is any day in any month of the year. The people here are so incompetent its disturbing. The service that WE taxpayers pay for is entirely unacceptable. All it takes is a quick google search and you will find complaint after complaint against this post office and its employees. I wish the big guys in usps would step in and set this post office straight but i doubt we will ever see that day. Until then we will just keep dealing with the terrible service that we have become accustomed to unfortunately.

Worst experience ever. No residential delivery, had to create P.O. box, but even with it packages are not arriving in 50% cases and getting lost.

The worse Post Office on planet earth, hands down. Why, you ask? 
I was expecting delivery of several items from Amazon and other stores over the last few days. Nothing arrives. Online it says the packages arrived at the local Post Office (just across the street from me). The online reason they gave for not delivering was because I had given the wrong address. Interesting, since several other packages had already been sent to this address successfully, from other shipping companies. The legal address had also just been used by a realtor, title companies,  and literally hundreds of loan papers just days ago. 
Anyway, I decided to call Amazon who conferences me into a call with a USPS rep. He says the post office had a full truck and could not deliver but no worries since he said he would tell the local post office to keep the packages at their premises so I can pick them up the next morning. Great. Defeats the purpose of online delivery - but at this point I just wanted my packages. 
So I go into the post office the next morning bright and early. Did I mention they were across the street from me? Packages are not there. They sent them back to the seller! 
They give a different reason for the mess up. Get this - only some of the people living in this area can get mail because there are "too many houses". Incline Village has too many houses? So it's not because you are a bunch of morons, it's because there are too many houses. Got it. 
They tell me the only way to guarantee delivery is to buy a PO Box number. So, silly me, I agree to buy a PO Box number. 
A couple of days later, more packages are due to arrive. This time from FedEx. I'm hoping the packages will go straight to my front door. Apparently not. 
USPS gets possession of my FedEx packages and sends them back to the seller. Amazing. 
I'm just glad my hard earned tax money is going to yet another well run government establishment. Morons. 
Oh, and by the way, I wonder what would have been faster - sending me a quick email or call to tell me my packages are at the post office or filling out a return to sender application and sending all the packages back to the seller. Morons.
