This post office is beyond ridiculous. If u have mail to be delivered chances are the postal employees will steal it if they want it and if u have a outgoing letter it will sit in ur mail box for 4 days before sumone takes it to be delivered..

So... waiting for an order which was placed. Called the company who was shipping it and they contacted the post office in Yreka. Yreka post office said the package had not been delivered due to not enough information.  I went to post office. They said maybe it had not been put in a post office "locker" on the street  because one had not been available. Hmmm.... they drop packages at our door from the same company almost weekly. I looked at the address and it was complete. So locker or no locker it could have been delivered before today. Also the post office mail carrier did not leave us a note telling us it had arrived. I had to drive down and pick it up. Whichever mail carrier decided to make up a story as to why they could not walk 40 feet from the mailbox to my front door is a liar and very lazy. Very disappointed with the delivery person who created this situation.

They are locking their doors due to vandelisme from 8 PM to 6AM. I dont mind that. We'll I'm sitting here at 0635 not able to access my PO Box that I am paying for because they haven't unlocked the doors to the lobby yet. I don't care if it is a federal holiday. They have hours posted they should either follow them or post special notices.
