It's refreshing to see and hear the staff in the service department being happy and friendly to one another and to the customers. That kind of atmosphere is a rarity anymore, especially for customers. Bravo Service Department Team!!!

One of the worst. First issue. When we were talking about the deal we went over an extended warranty. This was on a Saturday. On Monday we called back and said we wanted the truck. They offered to deliver it to us. Outstanding. Our salesman shows up with the truck. First it had never been cleaned at the dealer. Second the inspection sticker was four months old. The big issue is they tried to switch extended warranty companies on us. It was only when we said take the truck back we don’t want it did they fix that. Then the sale manager at the time offers to detail the truck and give us a free inspection when it’s due. Ok thank you. Flash forward a few months. Wife makes an appointment to go there and get these items done. She drops the truck gets a loaner and leaves while the work gets done. Three and a half hours later she calls them, because they never called her, the truck is ready. Ha! Has a new inspection. They washed it, not the detail job we were supposed to get. She had to send it back because they missed spots. The other employees in there even tell her sorry that she has to deal with the guy who was our salesman. He tells her they don’t wax vehicles there. She dove almost two hours each way for a $16 inspection and a $40 wash. When I call to complain. Salesman tells me I don’t know what I’m talking about that the blue check marks on the truck were wax residue from a wax job they don’t do. Next day a new sales manager calls me to tell me they don’t wax new vehicles. They aren’t sure what the old sales manager promised. Sorry my wife spent 7.5 hours plus fuel for $56 dollars worth of work. Dealers around me wax new cars. Paint protection is available at additional cost. I will be contacting Dodge about their tactics when selling a Mopar extended warranty and then it’s different when you sign. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Valley Jeep Service Department saved the day! This story is a long one. Get yourself a cup of coffee and settle in because Zach Hackett the Service Advisor, Jeff Miller the Service Manager and Adam Randolph the Expert Jeep Guru Technician at Valley Jeep came through for me in a big way when it really counted. It was 3:30 in the afternoon Friday 27 April. My son and I had driven three hours from Yorktown to Lovingston, VA to take part in one of our favorite annual offroad charity events "Wheelin for Hope" at Oak Ridge Estates. We were minutes away from the campground with a Jeep full of camping gear when my clutch failed and I was unable to move my Jeep under my own power. Luckily this happened while I was stopped at a stoplight in town so I was able to quickly have a buddy in his Jeep pull me and my Jeep safely off the road while we figured out what to do next. I realized this wasn't something I could fix on the roadside so I spent time going through Google Reviews on my phone trying to find the highest rated Shop or dealership in the area. I found Valley Jeep (Dodge, Chrysler, RAM) and they had 51 reviews with 4.5 stars. They sounded like folks I could take a chance on. I called and ended up talking with Zach. He was friendly, professional and attentive. I explained that I was far from home with no idea how I was going to get back home. He appreciated the nature of my situation. The tow truck wouldn't drop my Jeep before they closed but their team would look at it first thing in the morning and see what they could do. He couldn't make any promises other than he and the team at Valley Jeep would give it their best effort. Wow was I pleasantly surprised! In the morning I got a call from Zach saying that it was like I described and suspected, I needed a new clutch. I wasn't surprised because I had smoked the clutch a few times years ago when I was still learning the finer points of off-roading. Yes... I've since learned that 4-Low is your friend in a Jeep... As fate would have it they had all the parts in stock and Adam was hard at work on it and it looked like they could get it done that day! YESSS!!!!!! I got another call around 2:30 from Zach saying it was done and ready for pick up! Wow! So quick recap: 1) Friday afternoon... Jeep dropped off at Valley Jeep after they closed with a broken clutch. (Thanks A-1 Towing of Charlottesville. You get an honorable mention!) 2) Friendly reception and understanding of my situation -Thanks Zach! 3) The hard-working technician who dropped everything else he was doing that day to get me back on the road. He was even able to save me $600 dollars by buffing out my flywheel rather than replacing it. - Thanks Adam! 4) A shop who did what they said they would do WHEN they said they do it and kept me informed every step of the way! Clearly the product of good management and leadership - Thanks Jim! 5) One day turnaround and a 10% military discount. OUTSTANDING! So in closing, I wholeheartedly recommend Valley Jeep Service dept if you ever find yourself in Staunton, VA needing Jeep Service! Hopefully, when we return to Oak Ridge in 2019 for Wheelin For Hope we won't need Jeep service but if we do I know a place where we can go with confidence.
