Pretty bad experience with this company, especially with their warranty partner. If you're thinking about getting something from them and adding a warranty on top of it, don't bother. The warranty company is quick to deny claims stating that they are accumulated stains even if you send them picture evidence that the claims are new.They take 4-5 days to get back to you after a claim and then they just send someone out to take pictures (and not fix issues). They don't trust the pictures we have and just send a third party over to verify that we are not lying. For this appointment they give you a 4 hour window and gave us 15 minutes before they arrived and left. Of course we missed that appointment. We all have jobs to do and just can't afford to wait 4 hours for these guys to show up and take pics that we've sent already. Then they sent another set of people a month later to come take pictures. By this time there were more stains and then they just claimed that we'd let stains accumulate and so they were not covered under the warranty.  If these folks don't fix stains promptly, other stains are going to keep happening. The parent company did not have anything further to say. They just said, hey we've got your money, we don't care what happens now. You deal with the warranty company. Such a beautiful company that really cares about its customers. 

I even filed a BBB complaint and they said the same thing, deal with the warranty company. So with these folks, if you buy a warranty you're basically just giving away the money for something that will never ever  see a claim paid or a stain fixed. If you have money to give away, I highly recommend getting furniture from these folks and then getting a warranty on top of it.

Very bad customer service experience. Horrible communication from different departments. This makes me sad because I really wanted to buy a certain piece of furniture and now I can't because I don't trust them.

Two (2) months ago, I met with their management regarding an adjustable bed with a motor that had problems. The service repair tech came out two (2) times with negative results.  After I expressed my concern with their management they delivered another adjustable bed.  I forgot the her name, but she did an excellent job to make sure I was satisfied.  You always read about the bad, but her concern and care for the customer was excellent. I will shop there again.  Stan

Needed high quality bedroom sets for the kids and wasn't sure about Value City's quality or service. Was helped by Domecneic who was very patient and was able to put together sets that exceeded my expectations. Turns out they have some higher end brands now that are real wood and the latest styles. Theresa the sales manager worked with me on price with little haggle. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for quality at prices that are reasonable compared to other furniture stores in the area.
