this is about the 5th time here...very friendly and accomidating. quiet, relaxing and so close to my lake!!

Tried to stay at this park. I called after regular business hours and the lady was rude. If you want ANY information, make sure it's during regular hours. Even the simplest question will get the answer "call back during business hours and I'll tell you". No thanks. Customer service IS important to me.

This is a great value RV park, $25 gets you everything you need. Safe, clean and everything worked like it should. 
TV cable was adequate, Spaces were easy to park in. It even has a nice little swimming pool if you have the urge. 
Amstead reservoir is right across the road. You  can't see it but it's there. 
The park is rather bare and not much to look at, but neither is Del Rio. 
If you are stopping for a night or two, like I was this park is great! $25 get you everything you need

We stay at American Campground and we love the large lot that we have. Dan and Pat have always been friendly and the owner is a great guy and very accommodating. Love the wild life that wonders through the park. We will be staying here for a while and love it. Everything is very clean, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities.  Love the park...
