Story

Our History:

Veterans Cab takes it name from its founders. We were founded in 1947 by a group of service men returning from WWII deployment in the South Pacific. In our seven decades as Richmond’s best and most recognizable taxi service, we have provided continuous service, through rain, snow, sleet, hail, and the occasional hurricane. We have never closed. Our corporation is 100% local and family owned, so our passengers can always know and trust who is takingcare of their most precious cargo – the passengers themselves.

Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation to all of Richmond’s communities. We strive to serve our friends and neighbors, like they are part of our family. We are dedicated to providing a professional and personal touch to even our largest corporate and government clients. No customer is too big or too small to receive our very best. That is why we have been, are, and will remain central Virginia’s first choice for all of their passenger transportation needs.
