Took mom for Mother's Day brunch. Even with reservations made >2 weeks prior had a 20 minute wait to be seated, equal amount of time for our order to be taken, another 30-40 minutes before the food was served.  The food was quite good, server was attentive, and given that it was a special day, a longer than usual wait time is to be expected.. still we will most likely choose a less popular spot for next year.

We visited the Village Tavern last weekend.  Boy, is this place busy!  We visited around 11:30am on a Sunday, and after church let out it was a madhouse!  Even at that early time, we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table.

Our service was pretty good.  Our server had good intentions, but with it being so busy, we fell through the cracks a time or two.  Nothing big, and all issues were addressed.

Our food was very good.  The calamari was delivered to our table cold, so we sent it back for a fresh one.  The new one was perfect and crispy.  The French toast was fluffy and sweet, topped with apples.  The best dish at our table was the club sandwich.  It was so huge, we had to take half of it home.

I would definitely return to Village Tavern.  Their menu is quite extensive and I'd love to visit at dinner.

Lemon berry sangria was delicious! The double decker cheesecake is always delicious! Love sitting on the patio. The Tavern nachos could have been better. This is always a great place to eat.

You don't want to miss out on this restaurant if you're visiting Winston Salem.  The menu offers something for everyone and never disappoints.  Most of the staff does a tremendous job making sure your time there is memorable.  This place is very popular.  Make sure to make reservations or be in for a long wait, but it will be worth your while.

Phenomenal! Not sure how I missed it.  Had the honey wasabi salmon with green beans and rice. Great ambiance and location.  Service was very good.  Food took longer than I thought,  but was worth the wait for sure.  Get there early of you want a good seat or no wait.  Very popular spot to eat. Menu has something for everyone.
