I work for Crossmark (who are contracted with walmart corporation) doing in store events at Walmart, I basically hand out a free sample of a product to promote sales of a product. I was to hand out a free sample of Bob Evans White Cheddar Mac N Cheese, at store 949 3155 W Wheatland Dallas TX, A man came up to my cart with a little girl and she took a SAMPLE and the went away he then came back a short while later and requested another SAMPLE I apologized and state I could not due that due to limited availability of product (I was supposed to purchase up to 12 packages of the mac n cheese they only had 8 or 9 on the shelf along with 8 or 9 regular mac n Cheese so as to leave some product on the shelf to be sold bought 3 of each, that's a total of 6 packages instead of 12 to last me till 6pm) The next thing I know Assistant Manger Carlos is at my cart asking me why I refused a little girl a second sample my answer was this: My apologies but (1) the purpose of these events is to provide A free sample of a product in the hopes the taste of that product in the consumers mouth will inspire or encourage them to purchase (Not to be a free walk up all you can eat snack bar) the product,(2) If I give a second sample then they want a third and it does not stop,(3). If I give a second sample to a child then adults will want a second sample too, allowing a second sample to any one opens a door I cannot close , if consumers can get all they can eat at my cart they will not buy the product I do not discriminate in any way shape or form its one sample per person period, I run my event this way for consistency reasons and so as not to undermine the purpose of my event. he asked me to give him a sample and took it to the little girl and then came back and asked me to contact my supervisor and shut down my event and leave the store. Which I feel was an extreme measure to take and I feel that AM Carlos in doing what he did undermined the reason for those events and for all intense purposes I was sent home for doing my job, So now I get to loose a days pay on account of a greedy customer who is teaching his little girl to have no respect for rules or policies, and that she can have what she wants when she wants despite any consequences

I don't hate it there only one way in the other door is boarded up a car drove in last week and it still not fix why? Is it because it in a black neighborhood. Please help me understand Walmart make lots of money in this neighborhood.

This Walmart is best for cheap prices and it's huge selection. Employees are helpful enough. I would definitely go again.

The associates are kind of rude & you would think of they didn't know where to find an item in THEIR dept that they would have the decency to all the manager or another associate. Being an ex- WalMart employee I feel that the regard for proper workplace behavior is over looked because of need for workers. Quality of service seems to have no place here
