Hospital staff is wonder nice lovely.. but a business needs compassion an love to treat people the right way.. prescribing RX is to me a absolute no no. It's time to take patients health serious draining insurance compensation. But when are these hospital start connecting to success storys it more than just a smile it's the work you place behind the them loving employee s. Yes this a retired area but most of the people are not but crippling medical staff Dr or nurses where the Brian's at to heal an not leave anyone hurt or damage..miracles faith in my eyes should stand for not found in a pay check it found in actually caring

My daughter had a nasty cold and came in with a 104.1 temperature. All they told us to do was alternate Tylenol and Motrin. That's the best you can come up with? That's what $250 visit paid for? Don't you think that I would be there if we haven't tried that already? Absolutely not. She needed something stronger obviously. Weeks later she still has the cough with the cold. I expected better from West Florida.

Currently in the ER with my other half. He had to be taken home from work due to very shortness of breath and dizziness. I had to take him to ER very quickly and had to take our 3 kids due to everyone still being at work. My other half was brought back to a room and was told the kids are not allowed. Apparently now our kids are being punished and sitting in a waiting room full of ill people and we have a 11 month old baby. If we would have had a choice we wouldn't have brought them but it was our only option. We've been to other hospitals and I even worked for one that would never have done this. This is the first time coming back to West FL after two years of a very bad experience with a emergency surgery and hospital stay with WFLH. We will NEVER come back again! You should treat families better then this. The worst part is I was allowed to bring my kids back the last time I came here two years ago.

West Florida is a great place to bring your kids for emergency care. I’m only 16 years old, so I’m still considered pediatric, but they still treated me like I was an adult & they treated me & my mother very respectively. My nurse, Aimie, was very caring and she came to check up on me frequently even though she was obviously very busy. These people care about their patients, & they didn’t stop trying to figure out what was going on with me. Thorough, humble, kind, & very helpful. Don’t make the mistake of going to Baptist instead of West Florida.
