Story

Winterville Mounds is a 42-acre site near Greenville, Mississippi, featuring 12 prehistoric Native American mounds, two large plazas, and a museum. Normal hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
