Dropped of a pair of Ugg boots on sept 26th. They were to be treated and have new soles put on. They were to be ready on October 26th. Stopped in and they were not ready he said come back in two weeks. Went again on Nov 14th. They had not been touched. Not treated and no new soles. Took the boots home. When I called later to ask his response was "yep". Worst customer service ever. Avoid at all costs.

I called to ask if he could do a repair he said yes but he probably have to take a look at it I said I'll swing by. I showed up 5 minutes later to find a closed sign on the door, locked at 4:30 with a sign that said he'd be back at 5:40 and they close at 6. What a joke

Unfortunately just not what it used to be.
In 2016 got quality work at a reasonable price. In 2017 had one misplaced order, stopped 3 times during business hours to find the store closed, and stopped a 4th time today after calling to double-check closing time only to find the store closed 45 minutes early, and the operator sitting at the bar down the hall. Come on man...

85 dollars to resole a pair of 80 dollar shoes? Perhaps that's the the economy of the thing these days, I don't blame the guy for that. 

But as another post-er noticed, this guy takes time off from work. A lot of time off from work. I finally got tired of driving my shoes around and left them in a bag at his front door. 

I left my phone number too, and he did find them. He didn't call me, I called him. While I was on the phone I heard him arguing with another customer about scratches on a pair of shoes. 

tl;dr Call first to make sure he's there. Don't bring him any shoes that cost under 200 dollars because the repair is going to be half that. And take a picture of them so if he scratches them, you can prove it.

My favorite cowboy boots were missing grommets.  They were replaced perfectly and the boots nicely polished by the date expected.  I love these boots and couldn't be happier. I've brought several pair of boots to be resoled in the past and have always been more than pleased.
