I worked for them for 8 months. It was a FANTASTIC job when I started. About month 7 they decided they were going to cut our out of town insurance voucher rates from $1.60 a mile to $1.25 a mile. I knew there would be more coming. 2 weeks later they raised our lease rates by 50%. Then the next insult to us drivers was them telling us we we NOT ALLOWED to decline voucher calls. The last straw was they tried to force me to do a $7 voucher call while their new "per hour" lease rates are $8.50 an hour. In other words I was expected, no forced to take a $7 call when it was gonna COST ME $1.50 for that trip. That was the end for me. It's unfortunate because I enjoyed the job and WAS able to make a living b4 all these new rules. They don't have enough cabs to cover all their calls. Their dispatchers are THE WORST of any transportation company in Arizona. Don't bother complaining if your cab is late, they will put you on perpetual hold.

Was told I would get a ride in half an hour. Two hours later I'm still waiting. Time to call Uber. I do not recommend what so ever.

I have noticed they have become a bit better since Uber is all over the place. I prefer the old school taxi over Uber. Uber is creepy if you ask me: I don't know why people love it so much.

I fly in and out of Tucson all the time for work. The normal distance for travel is 8.5 miles and costs about $25 (without tip). Yesterday, I took the first taxi available at the stand after a long exhausting flight back to Tucson. The driver took me straight home along the normal route, but ended up charging me $31.25 for a total distance of 11.3 miles. It appears that the driver had about 3 miles queued up before I even got into his car (or his odometer has been rigged). Cab #1616, Driver #105311.
